About Me

Well not really sure how to explain myself, i'm pretty easy going, have a good sense of humour, enjoy meeting people.I like to go out and do stuff but i'm also the type of person who could lazy around with a movie night as well. Not really sure how else to describe myself, what you see is what you get. I'm honest and i don't think anyone should have to be lied to including myself so i pretty much tell it as i see it.I recently moved for work. So I'm in a totally new place and do not know anyone. Kinda a new start I guess. I'm looking for someone who loves to try new things, is opened minded and easy going. Someone who is easy to talk to and hang out with no matter what we are doing.

Looking for: man. In age: 40-60

I am happy, energetic, talkative, fun, giving, loyal, responsible and a cutie pie:) I love mornings, coffee and affection. I love cooking for the ones I love, working out, sitting by my fireplace w/ a good book, wine tasting and movies at Cinepolis. I have friends over often and I love to entertain!! I enjoy my TV shows, reading, attending plays/musicals/concerts or just finding a hidden get away in san diego. I love trying new restaurants and foods. I love the Hotel Del at christmas time, dog beach in the summer and Tabu Sushi anytime!! I recycle, I eat healthy and organic, I exercise, I volunteer, I keep my promises, I return my cart at the grocery store and I always pay my bills on time………small things but important to me. Im outspoken and let my opinion known if I'm asked but I am always open to other view points.I'm not a tomboy nor am I a princess. I love to be active but still love my power naps in the afternoon. My friends say that I am one of the best friends they have ever had, and one of the most non-judgemental people they have ever met. My friends don't lie. Also, I am one of those very fortunate people who has found a career that they truly love and I actually look forward to going to work (on most days) :) I'm good at knowing what people need and i am in a career that elicits compassion and care. Nothing better.Attributes I'm attracted too……… a genuinely kind-hearted person, someone who's happy, educated, healthy, has a good work ethic and has no alcohol or drug issues, I don't. Emotionally and financially stable, I am :) Also, how about: easy on the eyes, responsible and someone who takes care of their teeth!!!!! I'm surprised at how many people don't….uh oh. Biggest pet peeves: Bad breath and cheap tippers! Im not quick to anger and hope you are not either. A kind heart goes a long way in my book. If you're the kind of person who screams at people and flips people off in traffic, or is rude to a server or waitress, you are probably not the guy for me.Also, although I work out regularly, I'm still a curvy woman, voluptuous I suppose….…if thats not your thing, then I may not be the girl for you :) Good luck to you!!!!! Enjoy searching….Be Creative, be Simple, be Fun and be a Gentleman.

I've been charged with really writing what I'm looking for in a partner. And, truthfully, I guess it's changed since the last time I wrote anything here...so, I'm going to be as honest and compassionate as I can be when writing something like this, for all of you to see. You know who I'm talking to!I am in a totally new phase of my life. I guess I'd have to say, the last third of my career and social attempt at life. I have completely changed my thinking from being pretty buttoned down, in what I thought I should be doing career-wise and who I should be hanging out with, in terms of ...men. In all honesty, I like a working man; but a working man that's smart and worldly and can put a grammatically correct sentence together; in a conversation and on paper. (Sorry guys-it's the teacher in me. Some things remain.) I used to write that 'educated' was a must, but, I guess that everyone doesn't become educated in the same way. And, different ways can still be...educated. It is still vitally important to me that you have a love of mother nature-the great outdoors for that is one of my 'drugs' along with live music and art. I crave the outdoors: mountain climbing, being near the water, canoeing, kayaking, hiking and just being in the woods. As far as the 'arts' go: I could never live without them. I receive a certain heightened experience when listening to (and usually dancing to) live music; especially jazz and blues; although I love most genres of music. I am in the throes of starting a new business which I am very excited about. I am a former school music teacher ***years) but it seems as though the educational system has become mostly dysfunctional and it is time to make room for younger educators to try and fix those issues. I still have a large private music studio for children (piano, voice, guitar, etc.) and I (mostly) love that part of my working life. I have also taught Sunday School for over 20 years and in particular, teach a group of Special Needs Adults which brings me great joy and sense of purpose. Unfortunately, I am presently living in a place that does not allow dogs, which is very hard for me. I have always had at least two Shepherd mixes. Soon! I hope that you will find what I wrote here most...sincere and intriguing.I think that a short first date for a coffee or drink is best. If the sparks fly, I like to go the Art Museum or batting cages. I love to eat out as I am a long time foodie and great cook and baker. I also like to entertain at home with friends. Is that better? No picture? Delete.
