Hi and thank you for visiting! I am a lady who is very loving and caring. I am not a drama queen, but prefer to communicate on a peaceful level when there is an issue. I do not like confrontations and will do anything to prevent one. Thats not to say I will back down and not stand my ground however. But generally speaking I am very laid back. I like a variety of movies and I like almost all music except rap or hard rock, but oldies and light rock are my favorites, and I love to dance! i took ballroom dancing a few years ago and would like to do it again.!! I like trying out new restaurants as well as short day trips and excursions. I have been on one cruise and thoroughly enjoyed it!! I also like adventure and nature. I'm a girlie girl too. Although I can feel comfortable slouching around the house, I do not go out without primping a little bit!! LOL.. you never know who you will run into!! And I can dress to the hilt if needed in as little as 30 minutes. I try to maintain myself in every way I can! I take pride in what God has given me and I don't abuse my body with drugs or tobacco. I am looking for a man who does the same! I don't play games. If I meet someone I can't see myself with, I won't waste his time or mine by going on further dates once it becomes apparent! I would expect you to do the same. I'm not looking for a Robert Redford, but I do love a tall man with a good physique. If you take care of yourself, it will definitely show. I also like a Christian man who knows and believes in God...no atheists please. I think every single day that we wake up we should thank God that we have another day and woke up on the top side of the dirt!! Life is short and we should live it to the fullest. I'm looking for someone who loves life and loves family! If you're a kind and honest man who is ready to meet a good woman who is not ready for the rocking chair, maybe we should meet. And if you're looking for a loyal woman who will be by your side through anything, that's me. I am very loyal to anyone I care about. I have dated younger men and older men but age is a number. You can be 60 and act like a kid (I dated one of those recently) or you can be 60 and act like you're 90. I definitely don't like either of those scenarios, but would rather meet someone who is mature. And let me just add that I'm not looking for someone just to have sex. If you are, please keep looking. I am amazed at the number of men who are married and "looking". Its obvious why they are looking! Sex comes after two SINGLE people have gotten to know each other and are mutually attracted to each orher and feelings have developed. I'm not desperate and the man Im looking for is not either!!!     I am looking for a friendship first and see what happens. Respect is extremely important. I am a true music lover and a loving caring person who seeks the same. I have found out that it is difficult to find a true male friend but I believe the right person will appreciate it and allow a natural process. As I browse through here I wonder what people are really saying when choosing non religious. I am non religious because I am spiritual, meaning I am a Christian, but I do not conform to a particular religion. After looking at profiles I am confused about some other things. Some men have only pics from a distance or with sunglasses on. Some have body shots pics with no head. I personally would like to see what you actually look like. Looks are not eveything but since I can't see your personality online then that is my first indicator for attraction. Also pictures of dead animal or your pants down slightly are automatic skips for me.     I'm back to fishing again. I've been watching from the beach far too long, lol. I'm a transplant from the Philippines and I've been in NJ for 9 years now. It was a hard adjustment initially but having a life helps with homesickness a lot. I have a curious mind and I like to learn about new things all the time. I'm kind of nerdy in that sense. Google has been a friend when it comes to assuaging my curiosity. I also have an eclectic taste in movies, tv shows and music. My Itunes is filled with all sorts of music ranging from classical to rock and most of the stuff in between. My netflix queue has all sorts of movies, some of which are even guy friendly ;-). My reading list is non existent since I pretty much read anything I can get my hands on (do not judge, so what if I sometimes read textbooks for fun...at least its not math...lol). I like travelling because I like to learn about other cultures. I also love visiting museums and zoos (warning I really do and I actually read all the little cards they put to explain stuff)Sports is the one thing that I have very limited interest in. By this I mean I only love football. I like hockey and tolerate pretty much everything else (except fake wrestling and golf on tv) but football is a passion of mine. I do not play it of course( I tried to throw the ball once but I have a hard time gripping it because of my small hands. Receiving was also out of the question since I was scared that the ball would hit me)but I do love watching it. I am especially passionate about my teams (my NCAA team and My NFL teams). I also have a dog. She's a sweetheart but likes to hog my bed.dinner in a relatively nice restaurant...coffee somewhere...call the next day to ask for a second date
