About Me

Hi! Thanks for stopping by and reading through my profile. Pull up a chair., grab your Starbucks and stay awhile. About me ok I will just start with a little of what I learned so far in life.. :) Don't sweat the small stuff it does not really matter in the scheme of things, love like you have never been hurt, laugh every chance you get, always say I love you because you never know if that will be the last time. You never get a second chance on a first impression so stay true to yourself. Don't be scared to try new things that is part of life experiencing new and exciting things that is when I feel most alive. There is sooo much that I want to do and experience that I have not been able to do as yet, so if you get a chance at doing something new and different jump on it don't let it pass you by. learn to forgive that is the most powerful gift you can give yourself not so much the person who did you wrong or hurt you but for you, because the anger and pain that will sit inside you is only hurting you not anyone else so forgive but don't forget and keep a hold of that lesson you learned from that pain then maybe you can help someone else one day and also to help avoid it happening to you again. I am so much more then what you see in a picture I am an interesting novel which contains Love, Loss, Intrigue, Suspense, Romance, Comedy, Thrills, Erotic pleasures and much much more. So if you would like to get to know me you know how to contact me.. I wonder how many people get past all the pictures and actually read what I write, I guess I will see. I want to show someone how much I can love them as if I worship them…I want you to feel prized and be prized above all.hahahah of course, I mean this in a healthy way… you wacko…lol. And not to be so bold, but rather to be honest and upfront, I don’t want to have some old sex…. I want you to have a fire in you, for me, that all the water in the Great Lakes could not put out… I want to walk through the grocery store with you… playing all cute with you pushing the cart and you wrapped around me, kissing my neck… tripping over each others feet and laughing over it all… I want to be picked up from work ….. Surprised by you with a soft blindfold, lead into the car and just go!… (yes, as the passenger..;-) and when my eyes open, there we are on the beach, having dinner by candle light…. And with a rose, you take me down to the water.. you say, you do not have your bathing suit ….. and without hesitation, a smile creeps over my face, and I whisper to you, “I knowâ€

    Woman. 66 years old. Zodiac sign: Leo.

    Looking for: man. In age: 50-60

    I want to share the remainder of my life with someone who enjoys getting out and doing things. Walking, hiking, going to the zoo, movies, and exploring new things around the world. I have a great chocolate lab, so must love dogs. Honesty, living by the golden rule, a sense of humor, compassion and a positive attitude are key.

    I'm retired but still full of spirit and silliness and think of myself as an individualist. My photos are recent and have been told I look quite sophisticated. It's how I look, NOT how I am. Actually, I'm very down-to-earth and unpretentious and prefer people who are the same. I was blessed to have inherited my Dad's sense of humor and you'll usually find me smiling or laughing at the absurdities of life. I usually make the best of things even when they don't go my way. I enjoy my home but like getting out, seeing new places and trying new things. I enjoy using my mind and have an interest in a wide variety of things. The things that make me most happy are very often the simplest things... time with friends, flea markets & yard sales (hoping to find an unexpected treasure), people watching, preparing a meal together (I'm a pretty good cook), going for a drive stopping for lunch at some charming spot we will find along the way. I've been single for a very long time and to tell the truth, I've never found the single life particularly satisfying. I enjoy being with others and what would make me most happy would be to find a parter I can love and cherish and share the joys life has to offer. I'm affectionate but not over-bearing, intelligent but not a know-it-all and I am considerate and thoughtful of others. There are many things I enjoy, but doing becomes delight when I can share it with the one I love. Honesty is most important and I treat others, including myself, with respect and fairness. Being able to share some of my interests with my partner is important to me but I think the most important thing to share is our values, our ability to communicate with each other and our willingness to compromise when we disagree. I think it's also important to respect our needs for private time.I have a delightful dog, a Havapoo (Havanese/poodle) who goes by the name, Shana. She's 12 lbs, very sweet and calm, and all who meet her love her. My music tastes run from jazz, the old standards, to the classics. I've been singing jazz all my life and a couple of years ago decided to study the craft and learn proper singing technique to preserve my voice till death do us part. I love a good discussion on many subjects: (currents events, what's been happening in our lives, sharing something we have recently read, thought provoking or funny movies, musicals and documentaries. Having said all that, I think the most important things in a relationship are the values we share, our ability to communicate with each other and our willingness to compromise if or when we don't agree and a respect for our needs for privacy. I am not a religious person but live my life with honesty, integrity and love. And after all is said and done, I'd love to meet someone who is kind, romantic, has some smarts, and is healthy with a healthy sense of humor and who lives within 50 miles of Portland. What's inside is more important to me than appearances although I must admit to finding excessive weight a turn-off.I think I'll end on that note and hope what I've written appeals to you.I prefer a first date to be very casual, meeting in a quiet, public place for coffee or perhaps to share a light meal. We'll get to know a bit about each other and share a few laughs. If all goes well we'll make plans to meet again. :-}
