I'm a simple, down to earth, normal person. looking for some one who is pretty laid back - serious but not too serious - you have to make me laugh. Im pretty sarcastic and can have a dry sense of humor at timesI think Louis ck is great *** basically just want someone i can talk to about my day and relax and hang out with. I want a partner to share my life with. i live a calm lifestyle...,I'm more likely to enjoy a small get together, a concert, play or ordering in with a movie then rock climbing and bungee jumping....BUT that's not to say I wouldn't be up for floating down the river, a nature trail or a good camp fire :)i work full time, I own a house in Gainesville. as for what i do for fun, mostly spend time with friends and family, relax at home, watch tv, go out to eat...**just FYI I'm really looking for more than just sex here. So if you are honestly exclusively looking to hook up just keep looking.

I am a musician (electric bass) who performs blues, New Orleans R&B, jazz, Cajun/zydeco, and other roots-type music. I also freelance edit and was formerly the managing editor of a national music magazine. I have a BA and an MA in English literature, and spent my first year in college as an art major.I have two Australian shepherd dogs and love to hike and travel with them. Going out to hear live music, seeing movies, eating a fine meal, dancing, seeing plays, going to museums, and spending quality time with my many wonderful friends are how I like to enjoy my free time. I am very liberal politically, and am spiritual but not religious. My favorite radio stations are KALW (I like to start my day by listening to the BBC news), KCSM, and KQED. I don't watch much TV and therefore don't have cable, but I do watch the news, political broadcasts, and various shows on channel 9. If I'm around on a Saturday night, I'll watch SNL.My spiritual "goal" is to try to live each day as fully, honestly, and joyfully as possible, yet with the long-term picture in mind. When I was laid off from my last full-time job (as managing editor) in ***, I began to live that goal by using that opportunity to start earning my living doing what I love most—playing music. Not a lucrative profession, but unbelievably satisfying. I've never regretted making that decision, and have been a much happier person since following through with it.I am looking for a best friend and companion—someone who is as comfortable with nurturing as with being nurtured, someone who enjoys being communicative, fun-loving, sensitive, and decisive yet flexible. If music is not at the top of your list of personal loves, we will probably not make a good match, as it is an enormous part of my world. It would be a huge plus if we could play music together. Good luck in your search! It would be nice to meet for coffee or go for a walk. Then decide if we want to go for more.

I enjoy a good talk with the river, a good laugh with friends and drinking barley pop on the weekends. My favorite colors are plaid and camo. I enjoy listening to local bands, I listen to most music but my favorite is 80's hair bands (shhh don't tell) outlaw country, anything by Janis Joplin, The Rat Pack, some good jazz and I could keep going but thats alot... I'm always up to meeting new people, because you never know where your next friend might be hiding. I recently graduated from the Universtiy and feel like I have a lot of free time now. I have started looking for jobs in my field and I am very optimistic about the future. I may even go to grad school in year or two. Well you have made it this far, take a moment to say hi! I promise it won't hurt. Why does it always have to be dinner and drinks, or dinner and a movie? Why can't it be something different? Why can't we go to a ballon race, the circus or maybe we could go paint a mug? Lets play in the rain, see who can skip stones the furthest or sit with our feet in the water and talk. Lets find a small town festival to go to, play carni games and eat cotton candy. Lets throw a stick in the air and what ever direction it points get in the car and go till we find a point of intrest to check out.
