I'm passionate and opinionated, driven and determined, I sometimes talk too much, but I think I have interesting things to say. I'm not a religious person, but I do have morals and try to do the right thing, I can't stand sports. I'd much rather go to a concert than a ball game. I love to laugh and have a great (and slightly twisted) sense of humor. I have the biggest most wonderful group of completely dysfunctional friends who mean the world to me. I'm very happy with myself, but there is always room for improvement and I recognize those areas and do what I can to become a better person. I work hard and I study hard. I'm very independent and take a lot of pride in that, but I thoroughly appreciate chivalry.I'd like to meet someone with a great sense of humor. Life is boring without laughter. I'd like to meet someone who is just as content to spend an evening snuggled up on the couch, watching a movie as they are to go out to see some live bands. Someone who can, on a whim, decide to take a day trip. Someone who can hang out with my friends and I and have a good time over some beers and good conversation or for a game night. Someone with character, depth, and a passion for life and learning, someone who can form an educated opinion and talk about it - even if it's just a favorite band or movie.I'm very passionate about music. Some of my favorites include: The Clash, Dance Hall Crashers, The Specials, The Cure, Bad Religion, The Ramones, The Toasters, STP, Foo Fighters, Joy Division, Violent Femmes, Poe, Enigma, Mozart, Weezer, Bob Marley, Billie Holiday, Death Cab for Cutie, The Birthday Massacre, 80's new wave....the list goes on and on...I work in the social services field as a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist, teaching life skills to adults with mental illness. I just completed my Associates degree in Social Sciences and am continuing my education, studying Business Administration, part time. I work a second job slinging pizzas on the weekends. On top of all of that, I do some volunteering and fundraising and a little cake decorating on the side.I have a lot going on, but there's always room for more - especially when it's something that matters. If you're worth it, I'll make the time for you.A nice first date could start out with dinner so we could get to know a little more about each other, then perhaps on to a movie, or to hear a good band, or since the weather is getting nicer, maybe a round of mini-golf! An afternoon date is just as nice, meeting for lunch, or meeting at a park to walk my dogs and talk.

    Well....let me see on where to start. I really hate talking about myself but this is the part of this online dating thing where I have to.     Hello, Thanks for checking me out! i would love to meet someone who likes to have fun and likes to laugh! I guess I am looking for someone to spend time with and go places with, and just hang out with.. To start! Hopefully we like each other and we can take it further. I love to travel and spend time with friends and family. I like going to movies and going for dinner. I also like to cook and BBQ'ing is a must in the summer. I love to spend time outside in the summer and love hot weather. Not so much a winter person but am willing to try new things. I also kinda like doing yard work and planting flowers etc..
