About Me

So here I am, trying to write a profile for myself, and trying to give you an idea of who I am and what I'm looking for. Walking on the beach, snorkeling, musical theater, amusement parks or just a walk in the park...any one of those interest you? But wait.... there is more than just that. I really don't enjoy the bar dating scene, and can't quite figure out how someone is supposed to get to know another person with loud music playing. Get me out there doing something we both like, or teach me something about your hobbies. I'm open for learning new things. I'm not a cold weather person at all. I live for hot summer days and tropical vacations. I have a deep fondness for Las Terrenas and one day I'll move down there. I love the culture, the scenery and weather. I am also open to travelling to other destinations. After spending time to raise my son, I finally bought my own house (I've lived in apartments all my life!) and I am loving it. I love the gardening decorating. It would be an added bonus to find someone also likes to work on the house, even if it's for ideas. My house is here only I retire, so I would like it to be comfortable while I'm here. I have 4 cats and just became the owner of a 4 year old English****r Spaniel, so needless to say, I'm an animal lover. There are lots of things I want to try or do but maybe need someone to show me the ropes. Dancing lessons, sky diving, yoga.... the list goes on. I would even welcome cooking or painting classes. Anything to learn something new! I'm looking forward to meeting someone who isn't afraid to be themselves right away. I also need to find someone who can find humour in everyday life. I'm a very affectionate person and love to cuddle.I've noticed that many guys post pictures of themselves with fish, playing hockey or with their cars. I must admit that none of these things interest me at all. I'll let you have your fun with these things, but don't expect me to get interested in them any more than I would expect you to get interested in knitting, shopping or "The Bachelor". If you do like any of these it's a bonus, but I won't force it on you. I have no anticipation of changing you, nor do I want you to change me. As for hockey, if you are interested in my dream of retiring in the sunny south then finding a hockey arena can be tricky. If you're a boater then you can make you hobby into some extra cash down there. I've received tons of "Meet Me" requests and I do not respond to them. Lastly, if you don't have your picture posted, then don't contact me. If we're all on here for the same thing, why are you hiding? Pictures will tell me something about you other than your looks. Like I said before, they show your interests, your personality and sometimes your sense of humour.A trip to Tim Horton's, walk in the park, or a drive in the country. Who knows where we'll end up... maybe on a beach down south for our retirement.

I want to write a book about my life. I have many different looks. I want to learn to juggle. Long haired guys are my weakness. I love roller coasters. I am hoping to go back to school someday. I was a Vet Tech for 7 years and loved every minute of it, but it didn't pay the bills :'( . I listen to every type of music imaginable (except country). I can sing a mean karaoke.I throw a Halloween costume party annually at my apartment. I can be super confident especially if I've had a bit to drink. I can make many useful things with random items found around the house. I do mostly all my home repairs. I'm a fan of shiny things. I am a shoe and earring whore.
