About Me

If being a professional outdoor enthusiast is so hard...Why am I having so much fun at it? Yep, I'm living the dream...are you? I am outgoing and vivacious. While not necessarily a whirlwind of constant activity, I am not willing to sit still and watch life go by. I prefer doing to watching, and am more likely to go skiing, biking, or just go to the gym or the beach than spend hours in front of the tv, or sit around the house. I am at my best when I'm on the go, and I feel better at the end of the day when I've done something physical. I can put my hair up in a ponytail and go just about anywhere, or put on heels and a dress depending on the occasion. I am well travelled and there are still many places I want to explore...it would just be more fun to have someone to share it with...don't worry, I can carry my own backpack and set up my own tent! I can go from hostels to five star hotels without any problem...sometimes on the same trip! I discovered sea kayaking a few years ago, and I'm hooked! I even have a second kayak so I can bring someone along without the hassle of going to the city to rent one..yes, the one with the most toys wins!!;) I've also been doing sprint triathlons over the past 4 summers but this year I'll only be swimming and biking...no running due to a knee that keeps protesting and a physiotherapist that seems to agree with it...So if you have a sense of adventure, and a valid passport the possibilities are endless ;) On the serious side of things...I am university educated (Phys Ed and Linguistics) and I have a real job ***years and counting!) I can also hold a converstaion and discuss the "topic of the day" or anything else that catches the imagination. I appreciate chivalry and praise good manners. I feel lucky to have lived on both sides of this beautiful country and I have not yet felt the urge to move anywhere else..the mountains, the ocean..we do have it all and it is ours to discover! I love to cook whether it be in a gourmet kitchen, or camping you can be sure it will be tasty :) Just the "girl next door" looking for my "boy next door"...just have to knock on a lot of doors before finding the right one..I look and feel way younger than my drivers' licence says I am, and with any luck, you do too.. My weaknesses are red wine, dark chocolate, spicy foods, and sushi, and I'm a sucker for a cute smile! I have a great sense of humour, and I'll dance to anything..yes, even Country but you'll have to lead on that one ... also, I don't take myself too seriously..I'm here aren't I? About the dating thing...let's start with dating, and see where it goes...Oh yeah...if you smoke...you'd better be on fire...this is non-negotiable...A casual meeting to see if there is chemistry...sit, chat, walk...after that who knows where it could go...

Woman. 62 years old. Zodiac sign: Sagittarius.

Looking for: man. In age: 52-72

People think of me as an "all-together" type of person who likes to help others. I have been told I really don't look my age (that's a good thing). I am very versatile and can have fun on a motorcycle or at a black-tie party (I'm most comfortable in jeans with a nice blouse).I'm proud of my little house that I share with 2 little dogs. They keep me company but are no replacement for the human companionship that I miss. I enjoy an intelligent conversation with someone who has a good outlook on life. I know where I want to be - do you?My social life is quiet - it's no fun dining out or travelling alone. Would be nice to sit on a deck, enjoy a nice bar-b-q or a walk on a beach with someone special. Going for drives, hanging out at the lake, flea markets, ...... all the comfortable things a couple does together. Do you enjoy playing cards, bowling, board games? Can you make me laugh? When I'm not working (part-time), I enjoy reading a good mystery-thriller novel, shopping, or relaxing in my backyard. l'd love to have a partner to spoil.I try to keep things simple and take life a day at a time, grateful for my health and all that life has given me. Only thing missing is someone to share it with.At our age, it is inevitable that we have children and/or grandchildren. I'm not looking for someone to integrate into my family, and I'm not looking for a ready-made family where I'll become an *** "Grandma" and spend weekends around children all the time. Been there, done that. My daughter is now quite independent with her own job, condo, and lifestyle. Now, I'm looking to enjoy my life with that special someone. Relocation is always an option .... :)What I’m doing with my life: I am a realtor who loves working with people.I’m really good at: My work. I can't believe I make money doing something I have fun at. I'm also good at lying on a beach under a hot sun.The first things people usually notice about me: My blue eyes , my smile and my air of self-confidence.Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food: Mystery and thriller novels, Clint Eastwood movies, drama, Star Trek, X-Files. Music from the 60's & 70's. Food .... steak, shrimp, pasta, Greek, Italian as well as home-made favorites like roast beef or turkey with all the trimmings. Don't like spicy food, or sushi (sorry). The six things I could never do without My computer. My car (I need it for work). My pets (wonderful company) My friends. My daughter. My home.I spend a lot of time thinking about: Travel (I would love to meet someone who can get away to Cuba or go on a cruise at least once a year) and retirement. On a typical Friday night I am: Watching a good DVD or playing on the computer. You should message me if: You are looking for someone to get together with ..... dating or long-term. You must have a good sense of humour, like animals, and be house-broken (lol).Emails first - please have more than 1 picture to show me. Let's talk about what we want in life and where we would like it to take us.

Looking for: man. In age: 44-64

I'm a very passionate woman and love to hug and kiss, and be held and kissed. I'm very content with myself at this point in my life and would like to find someone who is the same. I'm witty, love to laugh and have fun. Who doesn't? I'm too honest for my own good most of the time. I love being around a lot of people as well as just the two of us alone, spending quality time together. I'm comfortable in jeans and tennis shoes and also in heels and a dress. Altho, at this time, I don't even own a pair of heels :) but I could :) . I love new adventures and travel. I could travel down hwy ***and spend nites in a Yurt, or go to a city and spend a nite in a lavish hotel. I can even set up a tent in a campground, makes no matter to me as long as the company I am with is as flexible. I'm pretty decisive, once I've made my mind up, my heels are dug in. I've got one heart and I believe it deserves to be loved. He should be happy, content, mature, has high values for family and relationships.I'm looking for someone that is honest and has a clear conscience and has "found" himself. I'd like my companion to be kind of like an orange, without the peel. You know, soft, sweet, and not tart. Someone who isn't covered in layers of baggage that hasn't been gone through and dealt with yet. No secrets, no lies. Pure honesty is all that I ask for. You should be family oriented, but not so much that you don't introduce me to that family and leave me out of family gatherings. Our relationship should be a high priority, but not the only priority. A relationship should have a strong and solid foundation in which to build upon. There should be mutual respect. He should also be fairly clean cut and independent. I'm not really a shallow person, but I'd like the person that I'm with to be a pretty decent looking man. If you look like you just came out of the backwoods, then you should probably just move on. If you don't have a photo on your profile, do not expect a response from me.You should be within 5 years, plus or minus close to my age! I'm really looking for someone that's on this side of the USA! Not clear across the country or even halfway! I'm sure that there are those of you that say "distance shouldn't matter", well, I'm not one of those people that think that! My children are grown and I've got 6 grandchildren. I'm not interested in having a relationship with anyone with children still at home. I've raised my kids and 2 other sets. My children raising days are over..by far!I'm Native American and love to go to pow-wows, and love camping and travel. I love all types of music, I've even learned to appreciate the symphony. I love to go to concerts, and I like to gamble. In Life.....In life you will realize that there is a purpose for everyone you meet. Some will test you, some will use you and some will teach you. But most important are the ones who brings out the best in you, respect you and accept you for who you are. Those are the ones worth keeping around. ~Norm McMillan~It would help if you had a pic and had it actually posted to the site? How do you expect a woman to know who she is talking to if you don't have that? I've heard all the "I haven't done it yets" I can possibly stand. So, unless you almost lost a limb posting one...then post it!! Its not that hard....believe me...and with todays technology...? c'mon!
