About Me

I have moved just back to my home state of Missouri after being in Oklahoma for the last 15 years. It is great to be back near family and friends. This is a new chapter in my life with so much potential!! I am empty nesting, my only child is gone off to college. My focus has been on being a good mother so now it is time to have a life outside of being a Mom. I am looking for a friendship that might develop into something more, I say friendship because if you don't truly "like" the one your with all that other stuff fades but a genuine love for someone does not. I really like being single and independent so I am not looking for someone to take care of me, spoil/pamper me a little is always welcome but will be reciprocated. I really enjoy taking in a movie, cultural event, antiquing/junking, and going out to eat. I have come a long ways in life, taken some hits which I think is true for most people, we all have our stories, those are the things that make us who we are today.....strength and character building if you will! I have found in our age group a common thread of how difficult it is to get back in the dating scene when we have to juggle work and all the things around the home-front. I am understanding of this fact and hope to find someone who is understanding that I am not a teenager and have an abundance of free time but willing to spend and make time for someone with whom I share common interests. I have found that caring for others is a gift......we do not know what tomorrow brings if at all, so be nice to others and pass it on. Blessings to all!Option A.
