About me:I am energetic and find myself attracted to fairly driven personalities--but those who also know how to relax at the end of the day! While I appreciate luxury and have an eye for quality and artistry, I'm just as happy shopping at Salvation Army as at Saks: better bargains and I'm contributing to someone else's necessities. Call me sophisticated in my tastes but simplistic in my needs! I am selective and take it slow when meeting someone new, but if you win my approval and my trust, I am an open book--and I am typically easy-going after I feel comfortable in a relationship. I have many creative interests, I like sports, and I am adventurous--I love to be outdoors, as much as possible. I'm not really a homebody, but at the same time, I'm not much of a 'partier'. I enjoy travel. live music, and fine dining/cooking with small groups of intimate friends. Animals and babies love me, and I love them back! I was born to dance and cannot sit still for long if the music is lively! And yes, I heartily believe in kissing, holding hands and more! I grew up on a small, Midwestern dairy and wheat farm, yet I have lived and traveled internationally. I am well grounded to reality (read 'have scooped my share of manure'). I work hard and away from work I am devoted to my sons and their families (the Grands!), but I'm not a sit-and-knit granny, I'm a hip Mimi! These days, I value time-tested conservative values, kindness and character in others more and more--and look for chances to 'pay it forward.'About you:You must have a true heart (honesty and moral values), above-average intelligence & experience & you must engage my imagination. An everyday commitment to staying active/healthy and curiosity for learning is good, a sense of humor is great and a physical 'spark' is a necessity!     As a Spanish teacher, I love to travel to Spanish-speaking countries and taking the road less traveled. Peru and Bolivia were just two of the best trips I've taken....we slept near llamas and alpacas in the Andes mountains!
