Hi, i'm a young 40 something (i.e. not a cardigan wearing, ground force watching, motherly type - nor a single wrinkle in sight!). I'm blessed to look 10 years younger than I am, which drives my friends nuts ha. I have a great circle of friends who I see regularly and a good job working for a large property company in London, selling multi million £ apartments. I love fashion and recently renovated my house, so pretty much got it all going on except, not yet met the man of my dreams!! I guess like most of us on here, i'm just not meeting guys through work or my social circle. So am looking to meet someone who is fun and near my age (no toy boys) As I said, I am a young 40 something and still enjoy fun nights out and travelling, although my "raving" days are over and I quite like waking up most days of the week without a hangover. So weekends away and dinner /drinks with friends is much more up my street than tottering around the Westend in heels at midnight, freezing, looking for a rave.I would appreciate meeting someone who also has a career of sorts - it doesn't have to be in the corporate industry but I would like someone with some drive and ambition. Also someone that can mix in various social circles comfortably.Personality is a huge factor, obviously, but I think being of a similar type means the chemistry will work better. I like to tease and laugh, so someone that doesn't take themselves too seriously would be good. I'm pretty confident, but by no means arrogant. I work in sales, so am comfortable with meeting new people. I'm not looking for a pretty boy, but obviously there will need to be some attraction (which I'm sure goes for you too). I am looking to meet someone, with a view to, if the chemistry is right and things work out, that would want a relationship, so if you're wanting some fun and not really looking for a relationship then I'd rather you skip over me, although that said, i'm not looking for commitment after the 2nd/3rd date - just see where it goes, but you'd need to be wanting the same thing ultimately.I'm English, but my dad was from the carribean (just in case you're wondering)I probably wouldn't want to organise something too romantic or special for the first meet, as it could go horribly wrong if you didn't click with the person, so would suggest perhaps just meeting for a drink or a coffee somewhere..... then if we were into each other, I would let my imagination run wild and make the next meeting something more special, or hopefully, he would - as I like a man who takes charge!!

Looking for: man. In age: 27-47
Who am I? I'm beautiful inside and out (or so I've been told ;) ). I'm driven and confident. With a degree and career in IT, it's almost a given that I'm a techie. At work I deal with databases, programming and tons of information. I'm a girl who loves her computers and technology devices but... I'm also an artist. I draw tattoo designs. People tell me their thoughts and I take those thoughts and meld them into their design. It's so incredibly satisfying to hear their exhilaration and excitement at what a good job I've done. I also have a passion for drawing and painting nature, particularly flowers, mountains, forests and wildlife. I am also an amateur photographer. I have become pretty decent at Photoshop and love editing pictures. I've heard that there are lots of great places to hike here too. Do you know of any gentle places to start? I'd love to give that a try and go exploring ;) I could get lots of good pictures and fun out of a good hike. :D I love the holidays and getting family and friends together. I like to get right into the holidays because of the memories that we are creating. I'm always the one taking videos or taking pictures. I like organizing the holiday crafts and getting super creative for the kids. I usually end up doing the kiddie crafts too :P :D. I make up an excuse that it's to get the kids involved but I secretly kind of love it. :P I love being a mom and being a kid at heart. I try my best to be a great, involved, loving mom. It's a lot of work, especially when there are 4 of them, but they are my life and I would not change a thing. I know 4 kids is a lot but that's part of who I amI, like any good woman, love shopping but you don't need to worry about that. I don't ever need you to come on shopping trips with me. I also love cuddling up on the couch and watching movies or TV shows. I like Dexter, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Sons of Anarchy, Game of Thrones, Big Love, Six Feet Under, Downtown Abbey and anything else that I can find on Netflix. I'm always open to new suggestions. I love spontaneous plans. I love to just go to another town for the night, just for fun. Anything of that nature that is a surprise is great. I love exploring. I love surprise gifts too but that's only because I do that. If something comes across my way that makes me think of you, I'll get it for you. It doesn't have to be your birthday or anything. Same for surprise passionate kisses out of nowhere. I'd like to live my life doing things, not just sitting around and letting it pass me by. I love camping. I love everything about it, trails, campfire cooking, northern lights, evening banter, laughter, crackling fire, fresh air. I try to be as direct as possible. No redirection, no hidden meanings, just blunt and to the point. If I want something, I say it, I don't hint. That saves a lot of problems and misunderstandings in the long run. I need the same in return. I don't want to waste time on small things either. Let's not fight over petty things, okay? Life is short enough! I'm a big fan of compromising. We can both be right and both be wrong, let's not fight over it and just come to a solution that we're both happy with. Honesty seems kind of cliche but I'm not a person who can lie. It feels so wrong. I don't want a liar, even about small things. I like to be affectionate and I want affection in return. I just want to feel desired, you know? I'm sure you do too. I just want someone that will spend time with me, desires me and I desire them back and is someone who I can trust and is honest. The rest is just icing. I am a very rare person (or so I've heard) in that I am not racist or prejudice. The only thing I ask of you is that you don't drink every night and you're not racist or prejudice either. If you're an angry drunk too, I'm not interested. Social drinking is no problem. I do believe in attraction and chemistry. There has to be that spark there to progress a relationship from friendship to lovers. Physically speaking I'm attracted to men who are average, athletic or slender. I prefer taller than me but by no means will that stop me from talking to you if you're shorter than me. Definitely not a deal breaker. I tend to be attracted to darker complexions and dark hair. I think it might be genetics as I'm half First Nations so I am definitely not against brown skin and black hair. I really like goatees. Don't know why, just do. No preference on tattoos or piercings. I appreciate a man who takes care of his appearance and dresses nicely. I'm definitely mo re drawn to a man who's wearing a dress shirt and smells good. I am almost always in a dress because I find them more comfortable and I feel prettier in them. I hope that's not too vain for you and I don't want to come across as high maintenance because I'm not. I am practical. I do own jeans and t-shirts and have no problem getting down and dirty. I'm not the type of girl to bring dresses and makeup on camping tripThat's pretty much it in a (big) nutshell.I'd really like to do something rather unorthodox like try out paintballing but somehow I guess that's a bit much. Let's just try coffee or lunch hahaha. Probably the best way to start, right? It will all depend on how well we get along anyway
