I don't like the bar scene and find it difficult to meet people otherwise, so here I am. Three years ago I achieved one of my personal goals in buying my own home :) I've had a lot of fun remodeling and painting. I love my home but am always looking to make improvements!I've taught high school for the past 11 years. I liked my job, but felt like it was time for something different, so I'm transferring to 3rd grade support this coming school year. I'm really excited & nervous about the change. I am also an independent jewelry displayer for Premier Designs!!!!! I'm very family oriented and see my parents several times a week. I am also very health-conscious, I try to eat healthy and hit the gym several times a week. I'm working very hard on my personal fitness goals. Things I like to do at home: Cooking, cake decorating, painting (hobby), napping on the couch with my cats, crazy couponing, sewing, crocheting, Candy Crush, sitting on the back porch soaking up sun, reading books that are NOT for work. :)TV Shows I like: Dancing with the Stars, Big Bang, The Chew, and plenty of Netflix. I hate Comcast & told them to shove their cable where the sun don't shine!!! Best choice I ever made :-DFavorite Movie: The SAW series, Christmas Story: - Had a great time touring the actual house in Cleveland a few summers ago!Places I like to go: The Gym!! Shopping, Ohio Pyle, dinner out, Clarion (ALF), Cooks Forest, local fairs, festivals, and flea markets. Things I don't like: Snuff, Attending or watching sports on TV, obnoxious music, people with no common sense frustrate me to no end, people who are obsessed with cellphones and social media - you really think other people care THAT much that you just ate a ham sandwich??? People who can't spell because their brains have been taken over by the inaccuracies in texting.Over time, I have learned that it's quite necessary to be as specific as possible on this stupid thing. Things that I "assume" are apparently NOT assumable, so here's a list of some other things that surprisingly need addressed:1. I have a respectable job, never been married, and have no children. I want the same in my match. 2.Yes, I clicked that I will not date someone who smokes. This includes use of any tobacco products. Life is precious - if you're choosing to sign up for the cancer club, don't sign up to meet me. Also- don't try to hide it from me. I will eventually find out and leave you both for your disgusting habit and keeping secrets.3. I don't have a specific type, but if I am not attracted to you why waste my time or yours? Please offer me the same consideration.4. If I'm going to date you (brace yourself) I expect to spend time with you. Call me greedy, selfish, b1+chy whatever, but a few hours on an occasional Saturday is not going to cut it. I am looking to date someone seriously, not casually.5. If you put anything into your body (other than an occasional tylenol or cold medicine) that a doctor has not prescribed to you,you are doing drugs. This includes steroids and other injectables! It doesn't matter how you try to rationalize it. I can't believe I actually have to state this.6.. I believe in being honest, so here's my big "secret." I have a kidney transplant. I have had it for over 10 years. It is slowly wearing out and I will need another one. I don't expect you to give me one. I don't want you to "feel sorry" for me. I work a real job every day, have my own car, my own home and have earned everything I have through my own merit. I'm a good person and I deserve to be in a loving relationship, but there will be bumps in my road, and yours too if you choose to get involved with me. Don't judge me just because I know what to expect for my life....you have no idea what your tomorrow brings!Something simple and stress free.
