Lets see...I'm 31! I have a degree in Jewellery Design and Metalsmithing. I'm currently working mixed shifts doing healthcare related office work and also running my own jewellery business (during whatever hours I have left after shift work, jewellery and sleeping). Neither are jobs that really enable me to be meeting many people,and neither was my job prior to this. Bad luck!!Likes and dislikes... I'd like to think that I'm a fairly open-minded person. I'll try most things once. I'll listen to almost any type of music, I like a lot of different genres of film (with the exception of horror movies like The Ring or The grudge etc...I just can't seem to watch that stuff) What else... I actually really like watching sports. Whether or not I'm good at playing them, however, is another story....I can be really shy. It can be annoying, but it is what it is. From what I'm told it tends to come across as disinterest or something like that, but I swear it's just probably me sitting there thinking "Holy sh*t I'm so nervous!" That being said, once I get to know someone I can be incredibly sarcastic and sometimes my verbal filter becomes somewhat non-existent.What else.....I'm tall. I know it already says that in the above info, but I think some people kind of breeze over that info. I'm almost 6 feet tall and to be completely honest I'm not so into being the taller one in a relationship. I suppose it always depends on the person doesn't it? I'm also a plus sized lady. I love and respect myself the way I am, whether I'm wearing size 24 or size ***"10" isn't going to happen -lol-) I tend to expect the same positivity and respect from anyone in my life, as that's how I choose to treat people as well..........Should I get off my soapbox now? :)That's all I've got for now, I won't write any more of a novel in this little space than I already have. Friends would describe me as a balance between an easygoing, fun loving, caring personality with a good sense of humour and a focused individual looking to grow in all aspects of my life, whether it's career, self or relationships. I enjoy all kinds of travel whether it's weekend road trips or treking to the other side of the planet, though this summer I've gone no further than local patios hanging out with friends or family outings around the GTA - just as much fun! I love trying out new restaurants regardless of whether it's a 5 star or street food...good food is good food no matter where you find it.Thanks to Food Network, over the past few years I've been inspired to cook a lot more in my own kitchen. I revel in a relaxing evening, trying out a new recipe (with a nice glass of wine alongside). Just trying to find that brave soul to now try my food. :) During the warmer months I'm relatively active, enjoying many outdoor activities including golf, racquet sports, biking, hiking and walks on the waterfront. Come cooler temperatures I still enjoy indoor activities including snow boarding and ice skating along with trips to the gym. Like many, hitting the breaks and spending a lazy Sunday afternoon huddled on the couch watching a movie, reading a good book or surfing the net is just as welcome. I've spent several years in the fast lane with respect to career and though I'm happy with where I've been and where I am, I'm looking to refocus some of my energy in an effort to find my 'partner in crime' and strike a better balance in life that includes having a family. Looking forward to meeting a down to earth, open minded,intelligent and honest individual who has a zest for life and cares to share many many laughs along the way. Happy fishing!
