UPDATE - Why do so many of you look at my profile but NEVER send messages? Or, if you say you want to meet me and I send you a message you don't respond? Hi. I am a divorced, 45 year old mother of two young adult children who is looking for people to talk to and get to know. I believe that every good and healthy relationship starts out as friends so...that is what I am in search of. IF in the process I find that special someone...then I'm a very lucky woman. A couple of things about me -- I'm NOT interested in being someone's girl on the side, or 'extra'. If you are looking for someone to take care of you while you play around, keep looking. Also, I do not mind if you have kids, I prefer that you do, but I will not be having anymore. Not because I don't want to but because I'm not physically able to do so. Don't waste my time or yours if it is in the back of your mind that you want kids that you do not already have. I'm just trying to avoid more drama and heartache. ALSO, my profile before I updated stated I was a BBW. I have since lost a lot of weight and have started working out, which I enjoy. Now, all that being said, I do hope to hear from someone soon. :-)I would like to go somewhere that I could actually talk to my date and get to know him. Although I like movies...I do not feel that is the greatest first date unless there was a long dinner before that was full of conversation.

No need in acting like something I'm not. I can't stand drama so no baggage here. I am a little bit of a romantic. I love sweet little gestures. A text in the middle of a long day at work to say hi or you miss me. Showing up unannounced with Chinese take out or even something as simple as picking up a movie at the video store that you know I wanted to see. It's the little things. I don't expect to be showered with flowers, gifts and candy, I just like to feel special to that certain someone. I'm also very big on showing my loved ones how much I care and appreciate them.It might be a massage after a hard day a work or your favorite dinner. Just a quick note: my mother has cancer and us going through chemotherapy. To supper her I shaved my head.I love to talk. I would have to say one of my favorite hobbies is talking. Good conversation is such an exciting pastime. So I guess my ideal date would be anywhere where we could have a great conversation.
