I am from NC but have returned to Ky. to be close to my children. Take a walk everyday with my pup. Have an indoor bike. Work out when I can. But I am not into gym everyday. I have a full life. It isn't just about eating right and gym all the time. Although, I do shop Organic and I try to eat well. But everyone likes a burger now and again. I think walking, biking and doing fun activities can be enough. I am average and not size 0. I like me just fine! Love old finds and antique stores, flea markets and books. I am a Christian. I am not perfect. Don't have to go to church to find God in everything around us. But I do like to dress up for church sometimes and talk to like minded folks. Old habits and superstitions of the Southern gal, that I was raised to be. I raised my kids in church and they are all decent, don't do drugs, and have a college degree;with good jobs all around. I have two granddaughters. I have two older sons in Ohio. That's three in all and enough for anyone. One daughter......They have lives of their own, two work more than one job and I think they do more on the weekends then I do in a month.I have lived in Europe and Asia several times, several places in the US. I loved living in Italy and France was good. I didn't like London too much. Korea was an experience of a lifetime. I love to travel. A beach, somewhere, has my name on it. There are so many neat things to see about other people in other countries. I try to get away every now and again. I hope to continue to grow and learn and explore for the rest of my life. I am looking for someone who will be honest, kind,considerate,loyal,romantic,caring,sincere...but friends first and then see where it goes. I am in no hurry and I don't really like to date until we have met and got to know each other first. I like old fashioned men who know how to romance a lady. I feel he must be out there, somewhere. Then when Cinderella has her prince, I will be out of here for good! He must be willing to travel a bit with a passport, and enjoy life. He should be someone who has a life outside of job and just me. I have a lot of activities and hobbies I like to do. I just moved back here and am remodeling my home a bit. I want to enjoy it as best as I can. It ain't much but it is paid for and a roof over my head. Besides, I have lived in a third world country so, it doesn't take much to make me happy. I like museums, art galleries, ballet, music festivals and theatre. I like to take walks, eat food in the streets and enjoy a browse in the book stores. I am a sucker for a good book. I collect books and have hundreds. I enjoy cooking and baking and hope to find someone to cook and bake for. I really miss that. Everyone has baggage. As a past flight attendant, I keep mine packed and ready to go.......lol. But seriously, at our age you can't come without some skeletons in the closet. I don't even mind if you bring it along. Just don't check it in with you or it might cost you! I am neither perfect nor stupid. I have made mistakes in the past and sometimes make the same ones because I am a perfectionist and still might want to try to get it right. I don't like fussing and fighting is out of the question. I have too many degrees in my life and jobs are plentiful and few in what I do. I would rather work ***than fight.So, if you think you would like someone who is real, tells it like it is, is funny, will go out of her way to do something for you.......then write me. I am a giver, and give 110% always unless, I am just too tired and don't have the will to live. I am not looking to climb mountains literally, but just climb a few. I enjoy sitting and watching a movie. I enjoy sitting and reading a book. If you are the kind of guy who has to be joined at the hip, we probably won't work out. The only time for that mess is if you are in a crowd and afraid to get lost. I do like to walk and share and hold hands when the time is right, kiss in the streets if we ever get there.....and I adore romance once we are to that point. Don't push me or I will be gone. I don't like pushy folks of any kind.*smile..........Cheers!Meet, talk and get to know each other and have fun doing it...coffee, ice cream, tea..laughing is a must and so is discussing life and goals, and all the extras.Kinda hard to talk to each other over loud music and lots of noise on a first meeting, though. Who cares what we do, really? As long as we are laughing...:)
