I'd like to think I'm one of the good ones... My friends have described me as; kind and loyal, with a good sense of humour... I'd say that's pretty accurate :) I'd also throw in thoughtful and affectionate... Love my cuddles! At weekends I enjoy nice restaurants and bars but love to cook for someone special at home. When I can, I love to go to the theatre, the cinema, have a wander around galleries in London, wallking around London or the countryside on a bright sunny day... any time of the year as long as the sun is shining! I love my holidays and there are so many places on my list that I've still to visit but I need a travel companion! I guess what I am looking for is initially a great friend, someone with whom I have that spark, someone who can teach me new things and show me new places and most importantly, someone who accepts me for who I am and in return I will do the same.Hopefully something memorable...

I would rather be having a conversation with you over a coffee or beer than writing this essay. Let's all be honest for a minute, this is an uncomfortable and slightly painful process. :-) I prefer to demonstrate to others who I am, rather than tell them. It's up to you to decide if you think I'm kind, funny, smart, and a good human being. I think I am most of the time. My friends tell me I'm cute, but they're my friends - so you'll have to decide for yourself! I try to keep a balance between how intensely focused and serious I can be at times and then to have silly fun . Don't worry, I'm laughing with you, not at you. (Most of the time, sometimes I am laughing at you.)My main hobby right now is pottery- I enjoy the concentration of throwing on the wheel- and the feel of shaping clay as it spins. It's a great way to turn my brain off and emerge myself in the clay and music playing in my headphones.Last year I got into mud runs (OCR) and completed a GoRuck Light. THAT was a serious event! I'm not a natural lover of running, but I do enjoy all the obstacles and having a great time. I also enjoy biking around Chicago.Thinking about doing a leasurely bike type vacation in Europe with plenty of eating, drinking and relaxing as well. Or just the vacation of relaxing, wine, and food. ;-) Depends on the company I'm with!I'm a touch embarrassed to say that I just watched my first hockey game, it was far more entertaining and fun than I had suspected. I could definitely get into that on a regular basis!Why are you and I still on this site? We're both employed, smart (mouthed or ass), have skills and hobbies, friends and a big heart. Let's go.Drink (coffee or alcohol) and a chance to chat. I like getting a coffee and going for a walk along the lakefront- but there's tons of pretty neighborhoods to explore too! Option for a snack or a meal if we decide there potential between us. Our chemistry doesn't have to be on fire- but we both know the spark is important to get started.
