About Me

I am in a major growth phase of my life right now. I am looking to try new things and see new places and be adventurous. I work a job I'm not crazy about, but it pays the bills and I look for personal fulfillment in other areas of my life. Or rather I should clarify - my job is interesting, but we have come under new management and things have really gone downhill, so I (like most others there) am looking to make a move. I am a simple person who is not obsessed with having money or 'things'. That is just not important to me. What is important to me is the people I connect with and the experiences I have. I believe that I am a kind person who has a lot to offer the right woman. I have reached the age where I am at peace (mostly) with myself and I am proud of the person I have become (& am still becoming). I have a good sense of humor and I try not to take myself (or most other things) too seriously. I am still a kid at heart and that will never change (I certainly hope).I love to travel and want to do that more than anything. On a trip to Belize in ***I promised myself that every year I would travel somewhere I have not been and I am following through on that promise. I have been into fitness for many years, but I have just recently gotten into hiking and water sports like kayaking and tubing.I love music (mostly rock), movies (everything from popcorn flicks to foreign & classic films), books (when I have time I am working my way through the American classics) and sports (huge NFL fan - GO FALCONS!). But I also love simple things like a nice dinner with friends (or a date) with great coversation. I am looking for someone sweet and fun who still remembers what it's like to be a kid.), although I hate my pics. They don't seem to really capture my ridiculous handsomeness. I am a major romantic and I just need the right woman to heap all my romanticness onto (I like to make up my own words).I have tried online dating off and on for many years without much success. For a first date, I would choose something simple like a walk somewhere nice or dinner in a quiet place so we could talk and get to know each other and see if we connect.
