About Me

I'm essentially a fun loving person, pretty laid back. I wear my heart on my sleeve and am typically in a good mood, keeping a smile on my face. I work hard and take pride in the goals I have set for myself. Right now I'm in school, just recently switched and am now working towards teaching high school math. I work two jobs on top of my coursework, but I do set aside fun time, mostly on the weekends. I consider myself an extremely social person. I've been told I can make friends with anyone. I tend to be very caring and sweet, but I am a dominant woman who won't be a doormat. As far as what I enjoy: going out and singing karaoke, dancing, playing pool, bowling, paintball, etc. In the summertime, I'm on the water. I love to swim, fish, go out on the boat, or just take a day trip to the beach. A man that grabs my attention is one with a big heart, good sense of humor, one that's fun loving, but grown, and has confidence not to be confused with arrogance, I adore kid friendly (even though I have none of my own, I look for that quality and I babysit two of the cutest little nuggets alive), and I'm a sucker for a nice smile. I've been doing my own thing for awhile and figured it's time to at least take a step in this direction. I'm not on a desperate quest for love, but I'm not opposed to finding it. With that being said, please don't message me if, a) you just got out of a relationship, I'm not your rebound b) are only looking for "play", grow up and work for it, c) are planning on sending a simple, "hey", "hi", "what are you up to?" as a message, because I will not respond. Send something to make conversation on please :)

The real me is a southern girl with an open heart. I like to think that I am pretty outgoing, however if I don't know you I can be a little shy and reserved in the beginning. I like to use my sense of humor to break the ice and get to know people better. I am very witty and sarcastic and have been called a fire cracker in the past. =) I love the beach. It is my absolute favorite place in the whole world. I don't know if it is the solitude, the way everything just seems clearer and to make more sense, the way the tide reaches the sand, how big the moon is, the breeze, the sounds or smells, or just the peace. I do know that I do my best thinking there and I feel at home. I enjoy sports, watching movies, going to concerts, cooking, photography, reading, and hanging out with my friends and family. UNC is my favorite team and shockingly my favorite color is blue. I like all kinds of music from country to rap, hip-hop, r&b, pop, alternative, rock, etc.

I\'m really down for whatever when it comes to free time, and even if I don\'t think I’ll enjoy something I would undoubtedly bend the rules for someone special. Search for true lover, not egoistic bitch.

I love music and I'll listen to almost anything, though I have a soft spot for country music.Even though I'm trying to be healthier, I LOVE IN-N- Think "; but "Sara and Jess Go to IN-N-OUT" ***, it's that good.I tend to be pretty guarded at first but quickly warm up to people and then I talk A LOT. I love to discuss books, movies, news and politics. I know WAY too much about pop culture and can play 6 degrees of separation with actors and actresses like a boss.=]I'm a Sociology student and I really hope to go into non-profit work, but right now I'm just working on getting through school. For a first date I think meeting somewhere for coffee would be great. It's an informal, chill setting where two people can get to know each other without too much pressure. After two people know each other pretty well, I think parks (both local and amusement) are an awesome place to hang out because you can people watch together, which always leads to fun conversations =]
