.. I also enjoy the year-round fresh food... I love cooking as an outlet for creativity and to slow down and catch up with friends.I'm great at some things, horrible at others. I juggle like a pro but somehow spill my glass of wine; I'll ride a challenging mountain bike trail only to fall in the parking lot; I can chop wood and start a campfire with two toothpicks (not really) but burn myself flipping tortillas.My friends joke that I'm The Most Interesting Man in the World. I wouldn't say that, but I've had a range of experiences that give me perspective so that I don't take too much seriously. I was emancipated at age 16, a Paratrooper by 17, and a combat vet by 18. I love bad (i.e. great) puns and appropriate uses of "That's what she said," and find humor in alliteration. I like to list my jobs as Paratrooper, Peacekeeper, Paramedic, Performer, Physics Teacher, and Possibly the most awesome engineer ever. I embrace my inner nerd. I'd like to do something that we both already enjoy and somewhat active. My list of interests is pretty accurate of how I spend free time, and I'm open to new things (especially if they can be done in flip flops). I believe in collaborative partnerships, so the traditional man-dictates-dates is not a relationship that would work with me (though my southern background dictates that I still open doors and such... can't shake that).
