About Me

This is the first time that I've ever done something like this. I'm a single mom of a sweet baby boy. I have a small crafting and repurposing business that allows me to stay home with my son. I have LOVED being able to be with him everyday and experience all of his "firsts". I'm very driven and passionate about life. I'm pretty outgoing and spontaneous. I'm a southern girl who believes in working hard and earning what she has. My family and friends mean the world to me! I'm looking for someone who is well established in their career. has a sense of humor, wants kids, is easy going, and loves Christ and his family.

I am very atheletic, I play slow pitch, soccer, and love being outside. I used to speed skate untill I got taken out and injured it was then that it was suggested to quit. Shortly after quitting I went back to school to become a preschool teacher. I have been teaching it for about a year now and loving it. I have a 2 year old black lab who is my baby, she loves going on walks, swims and hikes with me. I am a huge family person I can often be found hanging out with my brother his wife and their 2 young daghters. I am often listening to country music, however I am open to other genres as well.

"Rabbit's clever," said Pooh thoughtfully."Yes,"said Piglet, "Rabbit's clever.""And he has Brain.""Yes," said Piglet, "Rabbit has Brain."There was a long silence."I suppose," said Pooh, "that that's why he never understands anything."I guess my first passion is animals; I have a cornsnake and cats. As an animal lover I am a vegetarian, but don't be scared away I am the nice kind that doesn't care what others do. I love many types of music such as Blues, Folk, Celtic, Rockabilly, Classic Country, Post Punk, and Post Rock, but I listen to mostly Folk/ Black/ Death Metal, and I'm the kind of person that's not afraid to get in the pit. (Well, some pits are scary) For a guilty pleasure remixed Serbian pop with lyrics about vodka will do. I also think AM radio is brilliant at 3am while driving on a highway. I really avoid television, but have a few old shows I watch occasionally. I watch only films that could add something to my life intellectually. If I'm not learning I feel I disenfranchise my mind. If it makes me think, I will enjoy it. I have only put one book down in my entire life. I love philosophy, political view points, high fantasy, history, biography, and anything that analyzes modern culture. I'm about as far left as you can go without being in Stalin's backyard. Well, I'm a little in his backyard too. Whether or not I agree with you I'm always up for intellectually stimulating conversation. However devil's advocate is the cheapest argument possible, and I cannot reason with people who have no viewpoints of their own to share.I prefer to cook at home since I consider myself fairly amazing around the kitchen. I am eastern European so I have no concept of things such as; 'guests in my home are not hungry' or 'too much garlic'. If I'm out and about I adore anything vegetarian and ethnic. Indian and Japanese are favorites. I also have an avocado problem, I probably eat one a day. I make the greatest guacamole you will ever put in your mouth. I've studied feminism and gender studies at school and on my own time. I feel very lucky to have had many strong female and male influences throughout my life that have inspired me to look into modern culture. I take what I like and leave the rest in anything I read about so please don't accept some outdated, potentially negative view of a feminist you met once and didn't like.I run five (yep) companies from my home currently. I'm fairly busy but make my own schedule since I work whenever I like. Aside from work I read, play guitar and keyboard, pretend to be admissible at pool, test my center of gravity in local bands' pits, bike 20km a day, lose at bingo, lose at LoL, swim, dumpster dive lawn furniture, play MTG, and smoke weed then colour on my refrigerator. Sometimes I get an overzealous ideal of my youth and insist on recovering lost time by taking broken bricks from alleyways to build an illegal fire pit on my rental property. Oh yes, I am certainly the bad influence your mothers warned you about. I own more books than anything else, I could start a library. “Being rich is not about how much money you have or how many homes you own; it's the freedom to buy any book you want without looking at the price and wondering if you can afford it.”I'm rather good at biology, I'm a bit of a dork and am filled with useless facts that come out at inopportune moments. I love discussing spirituality, existentialism, the universe, physics, psychology, and literature. My second language is English and I'm still finding phrases I never learned before. I guarantee I will ask you stupid questions about words. I really wish to learn sword fighting sometime, get back into archery, and acquire some badass craft like medieval metallurgy. I'm also bleeding often as I find how difficult awls are to operate safely. I hope to have a home by a lake and walk my future dog and/ or pig along the shore. I hope to have the skills necessary to be as self sufficient as possible growing my own food and building and making all of my items one day. All I need is to be outside as much as possible, whether it's camping, snowboarding, hiking. I can't stand living in the city and won't be here for long if I can help it. If it were not for my animals I would have run away to a nudist hippie commune by now. If you have ever started a fist fight, harmed an animal, or are transphobic/biphobic/homophobic, please shoot yourself in the junk immediately. Knife fight?

Next I plan to do firefly/serenity, walking dead, and torchwood. Coke is my favourite soda. The Fray is my favourite band. They're pretty much the only band where i can listen to their songs over and over and over and not get sick of them :P Other than that, I listen to anything.;b, jazz/big band, country,, bluegrass, classical....pretty much anything but screamo :S hahaoh andI LOVE bubble baths :D so much so, that my friends and mother call me Queen of the Bubble Baths :P hahaI'm a sucker for guys who can play guitar, more so if they play AND sing :P I like tattoos on guys. Not covering every inch of skin...but if you've got some ink, that's rad :D haha I have 6 tattoos myself, with plans to get a few more in the near-ish future :P I love hearing about the different tattoos people have and learning the stories behind them :) I'm not super into lots of out doors-y type things. walks are nice, but I'm not into uber hikes up a mountain every day. I used to love fishing, when i lived in the Maritimes, but i haven't had a chance to do any out here. camping isn't so bad :P Hahaha just not for weeks upon weeks at a time...a couple days would be fun:) I love going on road trips or to the Beach to walk/lay in the sun, or have a picnic.- its boring and lonely going by yourself :P i'm also not really into the gym scene...although that's partly cause I don't have someone to motivate me.....but i will never be a gym rat :S :P I'm unable to play most sports due to an old ankle injury (plus I've just never liked them :P I'm more of an arts girl lol), but I do enjoy watching them - especially if I know someone playing! I don't know a lot about them, but if I have someone to tell me the important parts, it'd be fun.... :P hahahahaI love my friends more than anything else. I would do anything for them.I did a year of college for Makeup Artistry after I graduated from high school. Now I work in a TOTALLY different industry, but i LOVE it :) I still do some makeup on the side, tho it's more like a hobby, than a career. I'm definitely NOT a bar star. I do enjoy going to a pub for a drink or 2, but i don't enjoy excessive drinking. I never drink to get drunk :p going dancing is fun, just not every night :p music bingo is suuuuper fun :D and uhhmm. yeah :) haha. I'm a LOUD, fun, outgoing person, with a positive outlook on life. I love to make friends, and meet new people, who have similar interests to mine. so...don't be shy...gimme a shout! Happy fishing! :D for a VERY first meeting, coffee would be best. its a neutral environment, where we can get a feel for each other. for a first Date, dinner would be cool. But not somewhere fancy.
