I am a fairly easy-going down to earth girl, but I tend to be a bit shy when first meeting someone new. Doesn't take me long to warm up and become comfortable though. I am currently a student in University, working towards my Degree in Nursing. I am planning on working towards my Masters of Nursing, once I finish my degree, to become a Nurse Practitioner. For a first date, I like to do the traditional go for dinner/drinks first, because it gives you a chance to speak with the personand get to know things about them, followed by something fun like bowling or skating or a walk along the river if the weather is nice out!! Bowling is good, because it's fun and a great ice breaker! I'd prefer to wait for a movie date, as you can't really talk or anything.

I've never filled one of these out so here I go....I love sports, pretty much of all kinds. I play softball and golf. Love to watch football, baseball, college basketball and golf. GO GREEN. (non-band wagon fan). I've been a bartender for years so I am very great at sports talk (and even know what I'm talking about) and get in on all the gambling fun and take all the boys money. :) So I guess you could say I'm competitive but not in a negative way. I want the person I am with to have friends, to have an outside life and to be able to respect that I have one as well. I grew up with my older brother and my dad being my main influences since I lost my mom at such a young age, so that made me a girl that could hang with the guys and I've kinda adopted a "man's perspective" when it comes to dating. I love music. Music is a HUGE part of who I am. And I love all kinds! Religion is also a part of my life. I have been a counselor/ Dean of Christian summer camp for the last 7 years. I respect other views and everyone is entitled to their own beliefs. I don't force my beliefs on others but I do try to live my life at the best of my ability to honor my faith.
