I am optimistic, honest, driven, kind and respectful, with a playful sense of humor. I have been described as having a heart and a spine and able to talk through anything. I love spending time exploring natural beauty and playing outdoors, including hiking, biking, and skiing. I am immensely grateful for my family and my good friends. I enjoy throwing dinner parties and smaller gatherings with dear friends. I have practiced yoga for 12 years and value my yoga community, which has had its influence, yet does not define me. I don’t watch much tv but do enjoy movies... On weekends, I typically get in a hike or two and connect with friends over dinner. I don’t often go to clubs and bars, aside from the occasional happy hour or a good concert.Having a positive impact on this world is very important to me, from the checkout lady at the market to my closest friends and to protecting public and environmental health. I am thoroughly driven by my goals and values yet certainly know how to play and relax. I greatly value maintaining a positive attitude and seeing the best in others, while facing the world honestly. While I clam no expertise, I have invested a fair bit energy in my personal development and communication skills and value this in others. To this end, I am nearing the completion of my second masters, this one in renewable energy. My current projects include an internship with electric vehicles, conducting research to find motivation for companies to provide renewable energy to electric vehicles, and developing a startup business which provides an easy solution to my goal of increasing the use of renewable energy. I also manage my rental properties. While I enjoy a comfortable home, I value financial freedom (that is, the freedom to choice how I spend my time and energy) over luxuries.What am I looking for? I am most attracted to a kind woman who loves exploring natural beauty, works to improve the world around her and/or enjoys being physically active. I seek a caring, playful, natural, passionate, mutually supportive relationship built on honesty, equality and emotional intelligence.     Gonna try this again, maybe something will come from it, but am not putting high expectations on it. Anyway, I'm 39, and am a single dad of an 19 year old, and 16 year old daughter.
