In settings outside of work I tend to be pleasantly reserved. My friends and family would tell you that changes when I get to know you; hopefully for the better. I have a good sense of my own value, confidence, and image; definitely not an egotistical individual. I am a very balanced person; I know when to be serious and when to be silly. I believe my sense of humor is a strength; I really enjoy making people smile and laugh.I am not a fan of watching sports in general; especially watching televised sports as it doesn’t provide me with a “real” experience. Going to a live sporting event is enjoyable and something that I like to do on occasion. My favorite is baseball.I am very career minded and a good portion of my time during the week is dedicated to pursuing my career. I find great satisfaction in being an important part of creating something successful, something where the result is bigger than the sum of its individual contributions. Even though I am career minded, I also believe in maintaining a healthy balance between work and personal time.Some of the things that I like are: Openness, intelligence, determination, and compassion.A relationship that has openness is where both individuals consciously remove obstacles to facilitate achieving an unobstructed perspective and understanding of each other. A philosophy that I adhere to is first to seek to understand the other, then to be understood by the other. Understanding does not necessarily mean an agreement, but more times than not it tends to lead to one in my opinion.Intelligence in a relationship is very important to me. Meaning ability to learn and apply knowledge, not to be confused with knowing everything. I have a great respect for the world and people around me and believe it is foolish to squander opportunities to learn.Some of the things I dislike are: Rudeness, stupidity, complacency, and excessive self-importance.
