Prior to that I lived on the East coast. Before moving here I had never even been to TX, but I decided to move out here for a new job. As for movies, I'm a sucker for a good chick flick, but I'll never make a guy take me to see a movie he's really not interested in. I also really enjoy suspense, drama, and romantic comedies.I enjoy reading, but I don't tend to make time for it. I loved the series and just really didn't want it to end. I have the Kindle app on my phone, so I am trying to read more books now. What am I looking for?I am first just looking to meet people here. I have made a few friends at work, but I need to meet some people outside of that circle. After meeting people, I am looking to find a relationship. I don't want to rush into something with the wrong person. I am content being single, but I also really like companionship. The best relationships are those with a foundation of friendship. I like to get to know someone before starting a relationship. If it doesn't work, I'm always happy making a new friend.I hate to sound shallow, but part of being with someone is having a physical attraction. My type tends to be: close to my age ***, taller than me (5'10"+), active (enjoy taking walks and doing things outside), attractive with pretty eyes and a nice smile, a nonsmoker, drug free, not an excessive drinker (I don't drink at all), intelligent, and self sufficient. I'm a bit of a geek, and proud of it. I love Star Wars, and Stargate. I'm looking for the one who is right for me, and who I am right for in return. I love children, and plan on working with children under the age of 5, in a preschool or Head Start setting. So far I am going for my Associate's degree. I may someday go for a Bachelor's in Special Education, but it depends on when I find that special someone to start a family with.I am not coordinated and I am a clutz, both of which tend to make me laugh at myself. A person has to learn how to laugh at themselves in life, or else they may be very miserable. I do like to go out occasionally, I really enjoy karaoke and I don't have to be drunk to get up and sing. Most of the time I'm a homebody. I like curling up with a book. I love when I'm so comfortable with a person that we can sit in silence and do our own thing and just be happy in each other's company. I do miss having that. Something simple. Meet for soda or coffee, or for a walk at the Riverwalk, or mall if the weather is nasty.
