About Me

**IMPORTANT**Just so anyone who decides to read this knows, I believe that all good things happen when they are supposed to happen. While I am not "looking" for a relationship, if one happens to find me, I am more than happy with that. The idea that I may be on here to find the "one" is quite a stretch, but meeting new & getting to know new people is where I'm at and wherever that may lead remains to be seen. Please don't take the "intent" as an end all be all and run. Read on before you decide. If you like what you read, drop me a note!!**LOOKING FOR REAL, HERE YOU GO** My Father died in Jan. The situation being what it is, my Mother & It is not the ideal situation, but families do what they have to for eachother in times of need. I drive a truck full time, (which I REALLY dont care for) because it provides my family with the greatest amount of security. This has unfortunately caused me to surrender my social life, and fall out of shape over the past couple of years, but I feel it is a more than worthy sacrifice for the family.I believe that if more men took care of their responsibilities, there would be very little use for sites like these. I believe that there are very significant differences between men and women, and it is to the detriment of society that people try so hard to pussify the men of our generation. I believe that a child is BEST suited with strong male AND female influences in their lives. I see on here and have talked to countless women who say they want a real man, but in my lifetime have seen more women push good men away for being just that. Men are simple physical creatures while women are complex emotional ones and it should be OK to say and accept that for what it is. Political correctness is horsesh*t & to say that men & women are basically the same is the epitome of *** am not perfect by any means or stretch, but I am about as real a man's man as real gets. I work hard, I hunt, fish, camp, dance, drink beer, shoot guns, fix what needs fixin and burn what doesn't, etc. etc.... If you want to know more, read on, if not, good luck and happy fishing!!How is that for real, huh??What ever happened to the time when, if you liked someone, you could call/text them for no reason other than you were thinking of them and just to say HI without them thinking you had an alterior motive or were bein "clingy"?? When did everything become a game that if you are interested you can't act as such because...??? Is there anyone out there who still thinks there is someone who might walk in the room and put butterflies in your stomach, every time? Is it ok to believe that there is that someone who you just feel like a kid around, can make you stumble, trip over your own feet and be goofy about it just because they are there?? Is there still anyone who can appreciate little things like spontaneously climbing up on the roof with a blanket in the middle of the night just to lay and watch the stars because they are there and they are beautiful?? I have so many questions, and So many of you talk about the little things and "; but are you really looking or are you telling yourself you are looking? And what do you actually do when you find him??? If this paragraph has intrigued you, please read on, otherwise, good luck and well...I like to think of myself as a fun, funny, easy-going kind of guy. My life has not been without its struggles but I always try to make the best out of any situation. I really enjoy doing most anything outside. Some of my favorites include getting out on a nice day, riding my Harley on back roads and stopping at places I have never been. Getting the boat out on the water or sitting around a fire and telling stories with friends over a couple cold beers. I really enjoy having friends over for bbq's & bonfires.There are certain things about me and who I am, that, at times have been known to be unpopular with those who don't understand me and admired by those who do. To understand me is to love me, but to not try is and would be a true loss on your part. I don't say this to be****, but I am about as real a person as you can find and I pretty much tell it like it is. While it may be hard for me to put a lot of how I feel into words on here, if you should like to get to know more, I would be happy to tell you.Here is a small example of something most people don't understand but eventually figure out whether they like it or not.... WHEN SOMEONE EQUATES LOVE TO WHAT "YOU"WILL OR WILL NOT DO SIMPLY TO MAKE THEM HAPPY, "YOU" WILL NEVER WIN!! A PERSON MUST BE HAPPY WITH THEMSELVES TO EVER BE HAPPY WITH ANYONE ELSE..... The fact is, I am a simple man who likes simple things, a kid at heart some would say. If you come with drama, don't waste your time because mine is too valuable. That doesn't mean I am too much of a jerk to deal with the tolls that come along with everyday life but I am not up for stupid games. I love my life and I love to have fun. I am old enough to know what is important and I know how to pick my battles. I don't need anyone to tell me what's right and wrong because I have had enough time for trial and error (if I didn't get it by now it probably won't happen). I have had my failures, have had great successes and I will continue to do both as it is in my nature. I will always continue to strive for ways to make my life better. I love my friends and I am always looking to meet new people. So, if this is all something that you can understand, I am surely someone you would like to meet as you would be to me. I hope to hear from you soon!I know what I want, but I can't say exactly what I am looking for. To give you a small idea, I believe the best example would be "Walk the Line" or something similar to the Johnny & I have read many of your profiles, NO I DON'T JUST LOOK AT THE PICTURES, and can truly appreciate what a lot of you are looking for. If you actually read all of what I had to say and can appreciate any of it, even if I am not your "style", let me know, I'd like to hear from you! THANKS! A first date can go so many ways or places, but the most important thing would be an environment for good conversation. Whether it be a coffee shop, a quiet little hole in the wall bar or peaceful restaurant, gotta have that Q & A time to decide whether there is anything clicking.
