Sometimes life feels like a hamster wheel we keep running around in, but never get very far. Perhaps that is part of the journey or maybe it is what we are meant to do. Keep traveling in one direction without a destination. Let's not confuse my cynicism with all out negativity. Reality is simply the hard truth that requires acceptance and understanding. In my life, I've lived through good, bad, horrible, and indifferent times. All the while I've always maintained a decent comprehension of who I am. The strength to rise above adversity with my head high has molded a very strong willed person. There is not much I won't say when it's on my mind. Lost that filter years ago! hahaha My sense of humor (albeit a little quirky, twisted, raunchy, and sarcastic at times) has always kept me smiling through life. No matter what life threw at me a smile was present to not allow others to see what was on the inside. Contrary to my pictures smiling is part of my life. Don't judge me! hahahaha At times, my sense of humor allowed others to find their smile through difficult moments. A little bit of laughter goes a long way. My family (although dysfunctional), and close friends, are very important in my life. There is not a huge circle of friends, but there are a few that have been with me through a lot. My life is mostly centered around the simple things most *** over style. Quality over quantity. If the point has escaped you, I'm looking for simplicity and people who know what they want in this life. Not looking to be a stepping stone for those who have no clue. Neither am I looking for a hang out partner. I'm not a child but a grown man who knows full well what he wants. There was a time when serial dating was appropriate in my life. Been there and done that. Life isn't easy. Neither are real relationships. Everything we want takes work. Recent, and past events, have shown me that people who have addiction problems, of any kind, do not fit into my lifestyle. If we're able to love and respect ourselves, we'll be able share that with others. I'm looking for someone who wants something meaningful and lasting. A woman who's able to become my friend first and then go from there. Someone who is still able to see me for who I am during challenging times and able to laugh with me through them. Not someone who fails to see their partner beyond their own ego or past their nose. Laughter and fun are very important. Good, respectful people who understand each other truly are able to find fun in the most obscure places. People who live an active lifestyle fit in with how my life is lived. I'm at the gym ***times a week, eat healthy, and love to hike in spring and fall. Looking to find other physical activities that would keep me young and mobile. Anyone up for Yoga?? LOL.     Well for starters i am in recovery and no longer party, but i still know how to have a good time and have no problem with being around that scene.
