Whether it is for friendship, romance or otherwise, I would just really like to meet wonderful people.Because of my dedication to my job and my children, and the fact that I hate bars and am very shy (but an extrovert, go figure), I turn to the internet to make sure that I can find people that are like-minded and want to be around one another. Why?......Because I like to make people laugh. It is one of my hobbies....Because nothing beats a shared experience. I love music and comedy, and I like to be able to look over and share in what we just saw/heard/felt.... I figure we are all on this website to do the same thing to some degree. I am not opposed to keeping things casual, but it would be incredible to find something more.Everything else about me is what can be learned from my perfect first date, which I will talk about......... now. :-) It starts with a walk.That's right, a ***minute walk and talk. Someplace public, someplace well lit, and sometime around 5:***:00pm.At the end of the walk, one of 3 things will be said by either you or me:"It was really nice meeting you."- This means that the date is at an end and there wasn't a connection in any way. We got some exercise and it cost nothing so there is no feeling of being cheated or obligated."I know this really great place..."- This means that the person would like the date to continue and go from there. This could mean drinks, dinner, juggling lessons... I don't know, but something fun should happen next."My place is right around the corner."- Look, a guy can dream, can't he?So, let's meet, get some exercise, talk, and see where things lead us. I won't come empty-handed if the walk goes well either, we will have a thing we can do.

Simply put, I'm an outgoing, educated, sincere person, and slightly deviant. I've found the perfect balance between work and play and I'm here to stay on the sea to sky!My passion is experiencing the outdoors with friends, whether skiing, hiking, road/mountain biking, long distance running, scuba diving (in the tropics), sailing, ... (you get the picture). I value my work and like what I do, but I don't define myself by my career, actually i rarely talk about my work.I like fancy restaurants once in a while and doing the city scene too, but am not a fan of traffic or people that can't bother to smile on the street...My goals: Surround myself with like minded people who have a similar need for adventure, feel grounded in the outdoors, and have a sense of community. I don't need someone who does all the activities I do, but want some overlap so that we don't spend our free time doing dis-similar things.
