I must confess that I kind of despise these things. I may be a writer, but I've never been good at marketing, and trying to sell myself in words just makes this whole process seem a lot like looking for a job. It's distasteful, and more than a little demeaning. I'd much prefer to reveal my personality through the natural process of conversation and personal interaction, so we can discover whether or not there is any attraction based on actual experience as opposed to deciding based on a cursory glance over a paragraph of generalities. I hate the outdoors only slightly more than I despise hanging around at home and watching movies or reading books, which I never do.
