I am looking to meet new people and get out and enjoy life a little more than I have had time to the last couple years. I spend a fair amount of time on the road and am looking for exciting people to get out with and enjoy each others company. I like the outdoor life and sports. I love live music and large events. If the Oilers are in town, I will be at the game! I moved out west as a teenager (hitch-hiking with my big brother at ***and never looked back. Thankfully the rest of my family followed and we all now live in the West. I hope to spend portions of my winters down there for the next few years. The atmosphere, climate, and people are just amazing. I'm usually a very relaxed and friendly person, but when life/work stress gets to me I am frustrating to be around, and I know it. I usually take those times to be away from people and usually try to catch up on my reading (which I'm always behind on) or focus on other personal endeavours.- *** I tend to load a lot of activities and outings into small time frames, so when it's my time to have a good time, you can bet I'm going to have it no matter what. I also love trying new things and having new experiences. I am not looking for a particular type of woman, but I would like to find someone who has grown out of the nightclub scene but can still go out and dance a night away occasionally. I also need someone who is not self-involved and understands that there is a whole world going on around us everyday, and I hope you know something about it. I am very intelligent and a complete autodidact, so I need to be with free and active thinkers. I don't say this to be critical or mean spirited. If your idea of conversation is re-capping what happened on your favourite TV show, I will fall asleep. I believe in the old saying - Simple minds talk about people, Average minds talk about things, but Great minds talk about ideas. Going out for dinner and a sporting event would be nice. Going out with a mixed group of friends for an afternoon and then dinner later is always nice too. Perhaps a round of golf before the snow flies? If I know a little about you I can probably come up with something clever and fun. Leave it up to me and I won't disappoint. I'm very curious by nature and will probably find your interests as appealing as my own.

I have worked hard to get to where I am in my life, own my own home, have a valid drivers license, use full and proper sentences, and a career that keeps me financially independent. I am comfortable with who I am, the growth I have done personally, as well as the direction I have chose to take my future. Just looking to find someone at the same level in their life as well.as to the children aspect of things I do have a 12 year old daughter that lives at her mothers.She is a big motivator in the way I choose to live my life and the people I allow in it. I am a fairly outgoing, physically active guy that believes in honesty and respect and of course communication being the key elements to any good relationship, either friendship or committed, you can't have one with out the others. I believe in Karma and try to live my life accordingly. I love to be outdoors, roller blading, swimming in a lake, horse back riding, or just being out in the weather in a park or out door event. Don't get me wrong, not that i never consider having my in house home time, nothing like a great cuddle on the couch while sharing a good movie with someone.My friends would best describe me as fun loving humorous with a zest for life and physical fitness, no bull sh*t attitude, loves to sing, but still has strong arms to hold and embrace someone to make them feel safe and secure, But can often be found dry humping inanimate objects, or tossing myself down a flight of stairs *yes figuratively speaking for those that have taken this statement far to serious *(at my own expense of pain and embarrassment might i add) for the enjoyment of other people just to see them smile. Something quiet at first so you get the time to talk and see if there is that vital spark of communication. From there who knows, maybe a Latin club for some live bands and great dancing, maybe a karaoke night somewhere so i can feel like i can sing to my date and put a smile on her face, or just a great day in the park or at the lake, guess that's more then just one date huh? What i am trying to say is time spent with someone is never limited to just one idea.
