So lets see, I just recently turned 37, I have a 14 year old son who is with me ***and just started high school. Its a pretty frightening time to think in the next little while he will be asking to borrow the car. I have been single for a while now and ready to get back into the dating scene. I am looking for someone to settle down with, I don't want to date a bunch of women, just want to find one to be happy with. I do think the best way to start a relationship is to begin with friends and go from there. But as I have been looking at quite a few profiles and a lot of them keep asking where are all the good guys... guess what, they are all in the friend zone where you left them!!! So what I am looking for is a woman that has their life together, or at least attempting to. Someone that is not a bar star, but still enjoys a drink or 2 around a bonfire or at home. Someone that is flexible and can compromise with most things, and feels no need to change me, because I like who I am and also don't want to change who you are, cause really whats the point of being with someone who is exactly like yourself. I am not sure of what else to say without someone messaging and asking questions. I also believe that age is just a number, you cant help who you like, and if your both happy then why should it matter, but most people on here have their age limits, but that could also mean you are missing out on something very special just because someone is years younger or older.

    Hello,I really don't know what to put here. It has been a long time since I have put myself out there and things have changed so much. Both in the world and within myself in the last decade or so. I guess the quickest way not to waste your time is to list the things that might scare you off.( message me and let me know how far down you got before you said screw this and hit back page. ( part of that work in progress thing)I'm building my business and fighting down my debt, which means I'm looking to do fun inexpensive things.= More camping less exotic trips.I like new country and old country music, I also like many other kinds of music but know with country you either love it or want to rip your ears off.I brain aches from trying to think of things so I'll add more later.     I would like to think i'm pretty relaxed and a "go with the flow" type of guy.I love trying out new things and meeting new people. I am happy sitting at home watching a movie as well as getting dressed up and going out on the town. So if you don't like big dogs then i'm probably not the one you want. I am addicted to the food network so i love to cook and BBQ , especially when i have people to cook for (cooking for yourself is boring). Sitting in the backyard with some friends around the firepit having a few drinks is one of my favorite things to do during the summer. I'm not above getting dirty and fixing a car or doing some work around the house. I'm not so much into possessions as i am peace of mind , i'm happy with who i am and am comfortable in my own skin as we all should be. If a beer has too many calories for you and cosmo is your favorite "book" we probably won't be getting along too well. The right woman not only fascinates me but also brings out the best in me. We push each other to be the greatest people we can be. We bolster each others egos and we leave short, thoughtful messages for each other. I don't want to date the most beautiful woman in the world , i want to date the woman that makes my world the most beautiful. Trying to talk about yourself without seeming overly self-centered is kind of hard , so i'm going to cut it short here and if anything i've said seems like something you like send me a message. i think a walk through the zoo or going to the dog park is a nice start or bowling or skydiving or spelunking whatever , let's just figure that out when the time comes.
