Hi! Well, like the headline says, I'm looking for my road-trip navigator, my camping buddy and my couch cuddler. I'm an intelligent, well-read and well-rounded man. My life is in order, I've got things together and I just want to find someone to share it all with. I try to live on the light side of life, until it's time to be serious. I value happiness much more highly than attaining more "stuff". I like to try new things, learn anything I can, and my family and friends mean everything to me. I can fix your house, your lawnmower, your computer or your iPhone. I've seen the TSO in person, and I have been to demolition derbies at a county fair. Dress me up or dress me down, I'll fit it just fine.I read lots, write a little, camp yearly, and I just took up running. I love to travel and experience new cultures. I pick up new languages quickly. I work outside and love being outdoors, camping, hiking, or just farting around in the yard. I have two dogs and the best family that a person could ask for.-..I have my own house in Whitby, a nice little century home. I love it, but sometimes I think I'd like to live on a much bigger property in a slightly more rural environment. Not way out in the country, somewhere I can still drive to the a suburban area within 10 or 20 minutes.What I hope to find is someone who is kind, open-minded and open-hearted. Someone who is socially aware, self-aware, tolerant, playful and confident. But really, I'm just looking for that chemistry. I welcome messages from single moms, but I do hope to have kids of my own, so if that is definitely off the table, we probably won't match.Oh, FYI. I'm 6'1" and around ***lbs. I'm kind of in between thin and average. I'm aiming for more athletic as my running progresses, but right now I'm a more thin/average. I just completed my first 5k race on September 14, and hope to continue running.Also, I have a blue collar job. It's not who I am, just what I do. I'm financially stable and responsible, own a house, have a pension, savings, all that jazz.     I have to give some credit to the guys who do wear skinny jeans, dieting that much must be a b*tch. I do diet, more of a guy-iet, every now and then but nothing that can land me in a pair of skinny jeans. I always look like I'm riding a chicken. With that said, I am now noticably less athletic than I was a few years ago.... who knew a few grey hairs had that effect. I'll listen to any music under the sun, however some genres may only get a couple of songs in before I'm changing the station/iPod/channel. I have been trying to get better at golf as I'm tired of having to buy a new club after every round I play. :) Been to Europe a few times and plan on seeing more of the world, hopefully whomever I gel with shares that interest. Lastly, I text more than I call. I swore I wouldn't become that person but alas, here I am. If the company is good I'm pretty easy about the location.
