Humor, laughter, and fun are very important to me. I enjoy a night out, but am also happy staying home and enjoying dinner and a movie. I have a great sense of humor and friends and family would say I'm funny (cue the crickets) and enjoy a little harmless sarcasm. I also enjoy intellectual conversations and debate and am open minded to others ideas.I’m from the LBI area, and enjoy the beach , even if I don't get there much, and soaking in the summer crowds and events in the area (although not a big fan of the traffic). Although I like to prepare, spontaneity in life has led to some of my most memorable adventures.I am in my second year as the owner of a tech business and spend a lot of time running and growing the business. As of late, I don't get out as much as I would like but would like to change that. Listening to music and attending concerts is a big part of my life. I am very open to new music so don't feel intimidated if you don't listen to all the above. I like to take day trips, both planned and spontaneous and enjoy to travel, although I haven't much in a while. I have a very tight group of friends who are like family to me. My friends look to me as a good friend and a great person.I can sit here and ramble about myself or you can take a chance and find out for yourself. My goal is to meet someone who shares some interests or who can make me laugh or smile. I think going out for a drink or meeting for coffee would be a great first date. Its a good way to talk and get to know each other and helps take the edge off.

    I returned to this area after 16yrs of roaming. I have two degrees and have started my own business. It still just a baby so its not super profitable. I probably have the oddest hobby, it is repainting heavy equipment. so what I like making old things look new. I like fixing things, and I'm always learning. I guess that makes me my own mechanic and maintenance man. I'm just an all around good guy. I'm open to any religion, its just lots of different doors to the same house. I am a good listener and am always thinking, (guess that is why I went into IT) and there is always new problems to be solved.I enjoy cooking and am really getting into it. Specially low and slow Bbq. The ones that take ***hrs to make and has the meat falling off the bone. Not fond of grilling (hi temp short time) but I can do that too. And yes I make my own cookies. Why is it so hard for a guy to say to a woman "I like you" or pay her a compliment "you look really good in that picture" and not getting a reply back like a simple "Thank You". Has just being civil become a thing of the past? Not everything has an ulterior motive behind it. Like today a lady was walking down my street stopped and said " i like how you placed those bricks". I took the compliment and replied a simple "thank you". and she continued on. Not everything is about getting in someones pants. I've had better conversations with my watermelon plants. But we are on this site because we are all in the same boat so we might as well be civil with each other. Heck we all work hard whats wrong with giving each other a compliment or two from time to time.ok i'm off my soapbox now. Probably go for dinner, or I can make dinner for us. Go for a drive and look at the stars and talk. or if its cold out we could stay in watch a movie or talk over coffee. Just some ideas, please dont kill the messanger. lol
