Hello, I'm that IT guy, veteran, and down to earth gentleman who believes chivalry is alive and well. I'm a little nutty, spontaneously adventurous, very courteous, and honest to a fault. I live a positive and outgoing lifestyle, and surround myself with many friends who do the same. I'm set in my career, but am always learning more facets of the industry. A day without learning, is a day wasted, even if it's something about myself. I have a good job at a great company, and love every day of it.Now that I'm settled in, I'm branching out in search of the peanut butter to my jelly, Leia to my Han, a friend and partner, with a mutual compilation of values and integrity. I'm seeking someone who's honest, positive, caring, family oriented, career minded, intellectually stimulating, physically active, motivated, and motivator; an outdoors type, yet doesn't mind an evening at home with a glass of wine/beer and a movie. The things I enjoy are relaxing, adventurous, and enjoyable. I like weekend bar-b-ques, fishing, camping, hiking, touring, making a mess in the kitchen, watching movies, gaming, reading a book, surfing the interwebs, playing social games (cards against humanity, anyone?), tying flies, finding a good mom-n-pop eatery, a fine crafted brew, spicy food, brain-stimulating conversation, and spending time with my great friends. If you took note, I don't ski or snowboard; although, I'd give it a shot. It's just not on my priority list. I used to surf and skimboard, so maybe some skills would transfer over. I like all types of movies, with the exception of hack-n-slash, and I don't mind a classic thriller; otherwise, my preferences are sci-fi, nerdy, comedy, documentary, and comic-book-turned-action films. My tastes in music vary widely, but I don't collect any country (except Johnny Cash).; Sons, MGMT, Daft Punk, Beastie Boys, Lumineers, Black Keys, Deadmaus, Tool, and many others.
