My mother is a music teacher and I have grown up around classical music. As a result, my tastes in music extend into most genres. For the most part, I am into chill surf rock, reggae/dancehall and laid back hip hop beats.I am looking for a companion and a friend. I have a career that I love and enjoy every day, and am always aspiring to learn more and be better at what I do. I am pretty passionate about my work, but not so passionate that I don't try to take off for a few months every year in pursuit of the most pristine beaches on the planet. I'm a watersport junkie-- scuba diving, surfing, SUPing, and hopefully soon kiteboarding! Wanna teach me?!Other than water sports, I enjoy a good long distance run, hike, or cycle, and am trying to get better at my newest hobby: mountain biking. And by better, I mean slightly less blood at the end of each ride. Yikes. I'll put this out there right now though, I'm not too much of a skiier....been there, tried that several times. I am willing to try and get better, but just be warned that there may be copious cursing, yelling, and/or death threats. Just kidding about the last one! But seriously, I love the sun. Snow, not so much.Other than sports, I enjoy a nice night in with a book, movie, a few TED talks and a glass of wine...or beer. I think a day is wasted if I did not open a book and break a sweat. Family and friends are extremely important to me, and I am lucky enough to have an amazing assortment of both. I am an independent girl with a love for life.....but it's more fun when you can share it with someone!You: are happy....or travel the world.
