"Guys wait for the perfect girl, Playboy's fault...;With the overload of guys all messaging the same women on this thing, how does one stand out? I'm hoping poetry is the answer. Here goes...I'll welcome you to read my poetic profile,and don't have to tell you, this took me a while.You will certainly see I’ve got the gift of a rhyme,and hope you're impressed that I put in the time.For me, being on here began with a wish,but now I'm quite sick of this Plenty of Fish.All I really want is one really cool girl,so I remain on here, thought I'd give it a whirl.But I'm finding hurt women in need of a fix,and that most of the men I'm told think with their d***s.I've tried writing profiles that were witty when read,but the women they attracted were like a gun to my head.I’m finding it difficult, in breaking the ice,because no one seems interested, and no one seems nice.I'm tempted to ask if a pick up line works,or if they give the impression that men are all jerks.I know everyone has "want lists" and personal taste,but I’ve been putting in effort. I don’t copy and paste.I’m constantly trying to attract you to me,but experience tells me, more often you'll flee.For so many women expect a white knight,it becomes too frustrating to put up a fight.With most of the women demanding perfection,and most of the men boasting healthy erections.It's no wonder frustration sets in like it does,when one looks for sex and the other for love.I'm not gonna cliff dive, or jump out of a plane,no offence to thrill seekers, but I think you're insane.I have no wierd piercings, nor any tattoos,I don't smoke or do drugs, and go light on the booze.Don’t you find it frustrating, always spinning your wheels?With unfaithful men who don’t care how you feel.I'm hoping there's someone worth putting in time,in the hopes that one day, she's gonna be mine.I’m hoping you’re pretty with some great sex appeal,now don’t be a hater, this is just how I feel.I like women who are friendly, outgoing and fit,and I have to be honest, has a butt that won’t quit.I work in marketing and have written some books,am witty and friendly with boyish good looks!I like to take care of my mind and my bod,have a great sense of humor, both quirky and odd.I’m prepared to move slowly and your trust I will earn,it’s my hopes to start something that will lead to long term.I'm sure I'm not the first to be so poetic,just hoping you don't think of this as pathetic.So you’ve read my profile and if you like what you see, it’s time to decide if you’ll get back to me!Very easy going, down to earth guy looking for the same in a woman. I'm creative, friendly, witty (obviously), and genuine. I work in Marketing, am an accomplished photographer and have written a few published and near published books. Don't know what else I need to say (or can say) to entice you to want to know more so I'll stop now. Looking forward to hearing from you.*** Due to the responses, it's become painfully obvious that I have to be a little more clear about what I'm looking for ***I'd prefer if you were:- Caucasian- Attractive/Slim/Fit/Athletic- Attractive/Slim/Fit/Athletic (Yes, I have to write this twice because people don't seem to read it the first time)- NOT a bible thumper- NOT a crazy cat ladyI would also prefer if you were mobile (ie: have a car) and although I appreciate the kind words on my profile, I'd kinda like to limit messages to those who fit the bill... So PLEASE (I'm actually begging here), if we aren't a match, please don't feel the need to contact me. Men don't get the overload of messages women get out here, so a message that starts, "I know I'm not your type, but...", is kind of a major let down (I get far too many of them). I apologize if this sounds a bit harsh but, wow.And yes, I know I bare a slight resemblance to GSP (actually, he looks like me!)
