About me: I am a very active person who is always on a quest for new activities and hobbies. On the weekends you will usually find me off-road in my truck or off-trail hiking. I’ I’ve recently decided to pan for gold just for the fun of it. Okay, and maybe if I’m lucky, make some money from it. I’m a huge fan of road trips that have taken me to some of our amazing National Parks, historical sites, and new cities. I especially enjoy simply meeting the people I come across during my travels. There are always good stories to be heard and shared.I keep myself physically fit by running or mountain biking ***times a week. And hiking on the weekends is just an added work-out I guess. I bought into the infomercials and bought the Insanity work-out program recently. I hope to kick that off soon enough and see how I can hold up with that. I try my best to eat healthy, but man do I have a sweet tooth that seems to always seek out the nearest brownie or homemade ice cream. I consider myself a very good cook and truly enjoy making a good meal. I have mastered the kitchen, and have mastered the BBQ. I primarily cook Italian food and traditional American dishes. I love cooking for people, whether it is for my partner, friends, or family. I grew up in the kitchen learning from my mother and my grandparents, who are consequentially Italian. Other interests of mine include reading, politics, working on cars, working on my house, traveling, hiking, shooting, archery, fishing, tattoos, good cigars, good wine, and good dive bars. There’s many more, but you can always ask what they are. I consider myself a good man who was raised with a strong work ethic, integrity, respect, and honesty. I am politically conservative when it comes to fiscal responsibility and size of government. I suppose I am more of a politically moderate individual on social matters because I am not bound by any religion and can't stand those who take the "moral high ground". I was raised to always be a gentleman, but not a gentle man. I am a leader and not a follower. I am a man who gets dirty, fixes the car, the sink, the sprinklers, or whatever else I have tools to fix. I own my own home, own a new truck, and I own a classic car. I have scars, tattoos, beat up knuckles, and calluses. None of my tattoos are visible when I wear a t-shirt. With all that, I still know how to clean up, dress up, and be someone you would be proud to have on your arm in front of your friends.I am, of course, looking for someone who shares similar interests as I do. I am not looking for someone who shares every single one of them, but it’s important to have more than just a couple in common. A sense of adventure and desire to travel are a must. Someone who is physically attractive, active, and who takes care of their body, and who is concerned about their health. Someone who has an appreciation for a beer in good dive bar, or a glass of wine at a local winery. Someone who appreciates a good home cooked meal, and appreciates the effort put into it. Must be honest, faithful, thankful, and trustworthy. A person with strong work ethic and future goals in life.That’s it in a nutshell. There is always more, so if you want to know, just ask.     Update: Spent most of the last year teaching English in a small village in the Caucus.- but that's the point of experiences.
