By "date," I mean we actually go out on dates, we get to know one another. If that leads into a relationship, that would be great. If it just turns into a friendship, that is great too. To be clear, I'm not looking for a random hook up or just causal sex. Nor am I looking for a wife, or a mother to my 2 daughters, they have one. In fact, she and I are still friends and we get along just fine. To take it a step further, she is remarried and her husband and I get along just fine. So if you are not adult enough to respect this or understand how it is possible, then we are probably not a good match. Don't get me wrong, I'm not opposed to marriage one day, but I've learned that getting to that point takes TIME. I'm a slow mover when it comes to getting into a relationship. I'm not going to settle just to be with someone that "sort of" fits. The way I look at all of this dating stuff is, you will just "know" when someone fits. For that long term relationship, I want to just know...in the meantime, I'm here on this dating site to do just that...date. It really is a numbers game. You need to message X amount of potential dates to get Y amount of 1st meetings then hopefully have Z amount of real dates that can turn into something more. I think meeting for coffee, a drink, dessert, or something short to see if there is any chemistry, attraction, compatibility is the best thing to do. THEN if that works out, let's plan an actual date. No body wants to be "stuck" with someone they just met & realized they have zero in common & can't carry a conversation.
