Hmmm...where to start...Music is huge in my life, keeps me motivated and is a constant reminder of the rhythm of life. This is kinda how I rock, but enjoy diverse types of *** there? I know what I am looking for in a women, and believe that developing a rapport, getting to know someone is the key to long lasting relationships...But first things first...The right women has to have a sense of humor, and not take herself too serious. If you can laugh at yourself, you are halfway home...My ideal person is independent, professional, health conscious, and has a big heart, but has not forgotten how to have fun. All that said sometimes it's just a spark that just happens, and I want that feeling again. Must be open minded...I am always looking to grow as a person and am open to new ideas/experiences.My goals revolve around living a balanced life, spiritually and physically. Definitly into health and wellness, and I work out regularly. Actually I bought some DJ equipment to play around with at home. Cool little hobby...That said, I'm just as satified with staying home and cooking dinner/watching a movie...I like to think that I have a lot to offer and want to find that person to share with. Love to travel and currently have the bug to visit the Dominican Republic...the pictures I have seen are amazing! Somewhat of an east coast type guy, but enjoy the west, does that make sense? A strong family back ground is a plus, I grew up in a close Italian family and appreciate the impact of culture in ones life. Love finds a way, and I'm excited for the possibility of meeting that special someone who compliments me. I have never really liked describing myself. There is only so much you can know about a person from reading about them. Lots of people sound like a good match on paper only to find that there is not that extra intangible quality necessary for a successful relationship beyond friendship.Nonetheless, here are some things about me:I love movies. They are a great way for me to recharge my batteries.I love playing board games like scrabble and chess.I love to read. A couple of my favorite recent books are The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Hunger Games, and Brain RulesI love to learn. I have a couple of degrees. One of them is in philosophy. I am fascinated by questions of right and wrong and all those interesting and morally ambiguous dilemmas. The purpose of the degree was to consciously develop my own philosophy of life. I am very happy with what I came up with and it has stood the test of time over the past 15 years with only minor modifications.I also have a degree in physics. This led to graduate school and research in Switzerland at CERN in high energy particle physics. I also love my job as a teacher.I also love playing basketball and racquetball. I also love to travel. I went to Europe for 17 days over the summer. I may go on a cruise of the Amazon this summer. I also love my "me" time. I am very happy content being at home by myself or out and about with friends.
