Born and raised in NY my whole life, but happy so far with the change. I'm looking to meet new friends or someone to have a long term relationship with. I beleive in working hard and playing harder, however I would love to setle down and do things with someone.. About me.... I'm funny, outgoing and active. This may sound sad, but I am a romantic. I believe in holding the door open, cooking a nice dinner, or just cuddling in bed. I love to get dressed up and go out, but can also just relax watching a movie with a bottle of Malbec or Shiraz. i just recently started learning how to country dance....im getting there...lol. I love to go on road trips or weekend getaways when possible. I have a 6-year-old son who is my life. He is my best friend and I cherish every moment I get with him. Family and friends are very important to me. Theres nothing like spending the holidays at home! Besides new friends, I am looking for someone caring, funny, outgoing and adventurous. Most important, someone i can hold a intelligent conversation with. BTW I'm a huge sucker for a woman in a Sun dress...just sayin.Ok…update…I feel the need to put this blunt disclaimer for all you materialistic women….1) I’m from NY…not the south…I don’t say ya’….For all of you that don’t know what that is…its ***HP of pure American muscle car. Calling it a “girls car” to me wasn’t the best choice of words. I’m sorry I don’t drive a pick-up truck…and probably never will. Yes a girl actually said this, and that she rather date a guy that drives a pick up.3) I’m not a “bad Ass”.. but I do have a Italian temper when you cross or lie to me..soo please move on…..go to a jail and write some convict letters till he gets out.4) I just moved here…I have a good job, but I do live in a apt. Never have before. Sorry, if your drilling questions into me to figure out how big my house is so that you can move you and your 10 kids in that’s not going to happen.5) Don’t get me wrong…I loooooove kids. Wish I had a few more. That’s why I date women with several kids. I don’t have a problem with it. I am a Corporate investigator…so I can tell pretty quickly when you are trying to find a baby’s daddy for all your kids rather than a real relationship. I get it, your looking out for your kids, but that doesn’t mean I have to suffer with someone settling for me cause I have a steady job and a good head on my shoulders. 6) I’m not Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Mathew Mconehey (or however you spell that) or any other hot movie star with a 6 pack and muscles all over the place. I’m Jim, an average guy with an average body. If I have to start describing each detail of my body to you then you are looking at the wrong person. Go to a drug store, pick up a copy of some star magazine and stare at those pics on your lunch hour. On that note, I am not fat, I don’t have “rolls” I keep fit and I consider myself in shape. Never had a complaint. 7) I’m not a billionaire, just your average millionaire….so if it’s all about money, please move on.8) I like affection, holding hands, arms around your neck type of guy. If you fell Smothered by these types of moves, please move on.I really have no problem putting this out there. If these are not issues then great! Contact me…I rather stay on for 5 years and not meet anyone *** meeting someone that is materialistic and only looking for something in the best interest of them or their kids.
