I am not the cookie cutter type guy. I was raised right by my parents. Saluting soldiers, holding doors open for ladies! I enjoy anything that is antique/ vintage from the 50s and earlier. Kinda a nerd in my own way. I enjoy going to hear music of any kind as long as it is live. Probably the most spontaneous person you will meet. Good dancer:) Very important... Spiritual! I believe in GOD. Totally depends on how we jive!

I have a business that describes what I do professionally (insurance adjusting) and it it a good job, but it does not describe who I am as a person. You could call me a writer, photographer, artist, outdoors man, entrepreneur, adventurer. Those are the six words that best describe who I am as a person. I'm always exploring some new place or new hideout, then coming back home to enjoy my stories. It keeps life far more interesting. My interests range from the arts, classical music, opera to the outdoors, fishing, canoeing, hiking.-shirt and jeans. I grew up playing classical music as a kid and learned 6 *** the time I was 16. I started on Clarinet but eventually took up the Bassoon, which was my favorite, though I haven't played in some time. Recently I took up the guitar and have been teaching myself some basic chords (rocking the Smelly Cat). I write poetry and I've been rewriting some of it to be put to music and I think the style would match a Lute well (thinking Loreena McKennitt). As for my goals and aspirations, I hit many of my goals I set in my 20s in recent years and have honestly been happy with the results of some but not all so I've had a few years of real soul searching to figure out what God has me here for. I firmly believe in making a vision board where goals are made real. I have some educational goal in the near future that I will be going back to school for. I already have a bachelors but I require some more education to get a few credentials that will aid me in my career. I'd say that what makes me unique is probably that I am pretty much always happy and the diversity of interests I have. My resume has actually made me laugh when I consider just how many things I have done. I've always caught on quickly to things and with being a happy person - I've found the happy cool parts to just about anything. Because of this I just gain a lot of interests and learn a lot of things. It helps that my line of work does not require me full time in order to make a decent income. That gives me the freedom to explore these other interests and why it seems like I have a couple million hobbies when you meet me. There are times when a woman is nervous and wants to do a coffee date, which I totally understand. It is a very noncommittal way to make sure the person you meet isn't crazy or 7 decades older than they said. I prefer an intimate, independent coffee shop in situations like this. If it has to be a chain, I prefer Lavazza. Starbucks is great for when you want to zone out in your own world but smooth jazz at ***decibels isn't conducive to actually hearing what another person has to say. My preferred first date is an event-based date. They were playing the Lord of the Rings and were playing the movie on screen while the Orchestra was playing the score to the movie live.Of course....if you think sitting at home and watching reruns of Animaniacs is a good date, please message me right away. :-)
