About Me

Guess I'll stick to the basic/important stuff.I suppose open and honest are #1 things I have to have from a women. I don't want or have time really for guesswork. I don't lie, cause I don't do things Id need to lie about.Maybe it's about character, but if your first *** something goes wrong is to BS, that's not my style. I'd rather just be brutally honest (generally with some tact)I'm polite, hold open doors for strangers, and am well spoken. I even remember chivalry, at least some of the time ;)I am fairly aware of the outside world( not just in my own bubble) and do have opinions on local and worldly issues.I can have some colorful, drunken discussions with my more conservative buddies lolI'm funny, and more then a bit sarcastic. I'm also warm and generous to friends and family ( I have more then a few friends of 30 yrs+)That being said if someone's a jerk, I have no problem pointing that out ;)I work full time all over the lower mainland, and in the warm months run a small rental business.I've got 2 young kids which I share evenly. Weekdays and weekends. So I do have some flexibilityIt's been that way for a year and a half, so it's quite comfortable now.That being said, I've just started dating this summer, and feel way behind in the going out and having some fun department.I work on my own, and while I have a busy home, when the kids aren't here, the solitude I enjoyed for awhile now seems just pointless.Caring and feeling cared for has some great rewards, which I'd like again. I do drink, and smoke (local too ;), but it's not a prerequisite. I've got some wild swings in musical tastes, a degree from BCIT, ran a soccer team for years (until kid #2), have worked in radio/clubs before, couldn't drive till I was 20, speak French, Hmmmmm......thats it; guess if it was really important, it woulda come to me alreadyOh.     Hello everyone. I am a fairly athletic person who likes being outdoors but also enjoy staying in for a movie. I like all types of music, except country. I'm a Canucks fan, a football fan, and a golf fan. I detest soccer cuz it's just a diving contest with a ball. Musically I can listen to most everything, except country, but I go for classic rock, old school hip hop first, not that junk that comes out now. I mean does every rapper live in a club? I'm interested in starting yoga and getting back to the gym on a regular basis. I do like cooking, not that I'm any good but I try. I don't mind going shopping. But here's the deal...I'll go and look at shoes and clothes but you will then be required to look at tv's and electronic gadgets. I consider that to be fair. :-)I treat people as I would like to be treated. Sounds obvious but doesn't seem to happen with some. I prefer women who are intelligent and funny. I can find humor in most anything, sometimes to a fault, so be prepared for some off the wall remarks about most anything. My goals in life are to continue living a healthy lifestyle, settle down and start a family, live long enough to see the canucks win a cup, play in the world series of poker main event, do some traveling.
