What to say, what to say......... Well I've been on here for a while now. I can honestly say that it has been a bit of an adventure. I've met some great people, and I've also met some that were quite scary. About me, well I am a pretty easy going guy. I work quite a bit so I don't have a lot of free time to go and meet new people. A friend suggested this place so here I am. I'm not the type of person to go hang out in a bar looking for the love of my life. ? ? I love to laugh and get a kick out of making other people laugh as well. I like to stay active, I enjoy the outdoors and all the stuff that goes with it. I like to get out and play hockey and basketball when the opportunity presents itself. Cooking and I get along for the most part and in fact we actually enjoy one anothers company. Music is very big with me, I love pretty much anything, although rap and hip hop wear on me at times. I have been a drummer for many years and although I am not currently playing in a band I am hoping to get back into it soon. I miss it. About you.... well that is the million dollar question isn't it. I have to say that I am looking for someone with some life to her. I like the idea of a woman that can challenge me in many ways, you are intelligent and hard working. You are funny and like to laugh and have a good time, you realize that life is far too short to be miserable. I would love to find someone that shares my beliefs, not in need of a saint but if you have said beliefs yourself you know what I mean ! I have to say that smoking for me is a huge turn off. If that's a problem for you, then I'm not your guy. So if you are up for a chat or coffee or whatever give me a yell and we can talk. Happy Fishin...........P.S. .....explain this to me please?!?! Someone expresses that they would like to meet you but then I'm not able to contact this person ?!?!? Ugh! well I would be into something real casual. Usually you can get a pretty good idea of what you are getting yourself into after about 20 minutes. So I would say coffee or something like that. The awkwardness of a first date is bad enough, so simple is a good thing.

Guess I'll stick to the basic/important stuff.I suppose open and honest are #1 things I have to have from a women. I don't want or have time really for guesswork. I don't lie, cause I don't do things Id need to lie about.Maybe it's about character, but if your first *** something goes wrong is to BS, that's not my style. I'd rather just be brutally honest (generally with some tact)I'm polite, hold open doors for strangers, and am well spoken. I even remember chivalry, at least some of the time ;)I am fairly aware of the outside world( not just in my own bubble) and do have opinions on local and worldly issues.I can have some colorful, drunken discussions with my more conservative buddies lolI'm funny, and more then a bit sarcastic. I'm also warm and generous to friends and family ( I have more then a few friends of 30 yrs+)That being said if someone's a jerk, I have no problem pointing that out ;)I work full time all over the lower mainland, and in the warm months run a small rental business.I've got 2 young kids which I share evenly. Weekdays and weekends. So I do have some flexibilityIt's been that way for a year and a half, so it's quite comfortable now. That being said, I've just started dating this summer, and feel way behind in the going out and having some fun department.I work on my own, and while I have a busy home, when the kids aren't here, the solitude I enjoyed for awhile now seems just pointless.Caring and feeling cared for has some great rewards, which I'd like again. I do drink, and smoke (local too ;), but it's not a prerequisite. I've got some wild swings in musical tastes, a degree from BCIT, ran a soccer team for years (until kid #2), have worked in radio/clubs before, couldn't drive till I was 20, speak French, Hmmmmm......thats it; guess if it was really important, it woulda come to me alreadyOh. And puhleaze have pics from the last 5 yrs up! Thanks ;) Somewhere to relax, have a drink etc....
