I am typically the type of person who maintains a small group of close friends. However, friends get married, have kids, move back home, and you lose touch. This happens at a time when it is hard to meet new people. You find you are too old for the bar scene. When I am running I look like someone pulling a sled.I thought Plenty of Fish might be a fun way to meet someone who is interested in family and a long-term relationship. There is always an awkward element to all first dates. There are high expectatations and a lot of uncertainty about meeting someone you don't really know. I prefer something relaxed and casual where you can share conversation and see if there is any connection. Chemistry is such a difficult thing to define. You send a lot of time sharing paragraph jumbles in cyberspace. However, you never know if you really click with someone until you meet in person.
