I'm a pretty mild-mannered guy who is looking for someone who is down to earth, consistent, and considerate, and not just there when it's convenient. I'm tired of games, drama and the varying degrees of psychopathology I've had to deal with in people and I'm just wanting someone to hang with, do things with, go out with, and then see how things go from there. I like to cook and do stuff outside such as hiking, camping, driving aimlessly, taking walks, etc. I like watching movies and I love music. I also have some dorky hobbies like geology and paleontology. I'm honest and hardworking and can build most anything out of wood. I have a daughter who is very important to me and is the one consistently bright spot in my life. I like a lot of different types of music... dubstep and alternative rock mostly, but I'm open to most anything. I consider myself to be pretty patient and I don't blow up over dumb stuff. I don't have a legal history and I have a career.     Some say I'm the type of person that you need to get to know before you form an accurate opinion of me.....that I don't usually open up right away. But who are they....lol ;) I'm looking for a woman that can be open and honest....up front, without me needing to pull it out of her.....open communication is truly the best.I do have one son, who is turning 18 soon. He lives with his mother. We were never married and had broken up before we found out she was pregnant. I have been there for him since day one. With him being a "typical" teenager, I rarely get to see him anymore.
