    I'm 37 years old but still young at heart. I have friends with ages from early 20's to mid 50's and pretty much get along with everyone. I moved to NC for an engineering job that is pretty demanding and requires a lot of time. Therefore, I haven't dated much in the past 6 years. I'm not huge into sports but love to watch college football, especially if its my Gamecocks ("Go****!!!") I like to cook. Every now and then I will cook something extravagant, but I'm mostly a steak and potatoes kind of guy. I am not religious but I am tolerant of others beliefs. Politically, I would be considered a liberal, however I have views that cross the conservative aisle. My parents would hate to hear me say that because they are ex-hippies gone yuppie and still consider themselves political activists. If you absolutely hate Obama, we could still hang out but I could never take you home to meet my mother. I am an only child but not a mama's boy. On the other hand, if you mess with my mama, you better watch out. I like children but have never had much exposer to them. I have had cousins and nesses that always seem to love me (I don't know why). I just don't feel I have the space ready for one yet. I guess that is more than a little about me. If there is anything else you would like to know just ask. I am very open about my life and my past.What I am looking for: It has been a long time since I have dated and I am not looking to hook up with someone fast. I think that people should become friends before becoming intimate. I would like to meet a girl with similar interests, morals and views on life. I don't mind If a girl has children, but I wouldn't want to meet the children until I am sure that there is a future relationship worth pursuing. I am not all about looks but feel there needs to be a mutual physical attraction. Although I am looking for a long term relationship that will last, I am not opposed to meeting people that will just make good friends.
