Here it goes....I'm 39 years old and have relocated here not so recently for a job - been here about a year and a half. I am a pretty laid back, easy going guy who believes a good hearty laugh is where it's at. I have a fairly quirky sense of humor and am always looking for ways to lighten the mood, but have no reservations with being serious and assertive if the situation requires. I am committed to my work, but not so much that it takes away from the many gems life has to offer. I share custody of my 6 year old daughter whom I adore with all my heart. Love the outdoors. Camping is a favorite, and hiking or biking in the mountains - I enjoy running but not doing nearly enough of it nowadays due to that four letter word (work). I do like to travel as much as possible and look forward to exploring as much of this world as I can. I'm a simple guy... Based on my interests below - I can tell you that my ideal night in would be throwing on dinner and watching the Steelers game. My ideal night out would be patio drinks with friends.I value my friendships very much and would like to attain that level of friendship in all of my future relationships.I love going up North, and aspire to one day buy a piece of land, clear it and build a cottage on it (wrap-around deck mandatory). Would love to build that type of life with someone. I'm a big fan of patio drinks for a first date. Sets a level of comfort that maybe some don't get to when meeting for dinner and allows for nice conversation that you wouldn't get at the movies.I would imagine most people are a lot like myself and determine whether or not they like their date in a very short period of time. If things work out - there is plenty of time for dinners and movies.
