About Me

Alright, I'm not one that talks about myself much, but my friends would probably say that I have a pretty good sense of humor. I love intelligent women that are quick witted and can have fun with me. I tend to be the one that can see humor in most situations and enjoy laughing at myself as well as with others. I love getting out in the mountains for a few days of backpacking or hitting the rivers for a long float trip. Anything that gets me out in the wild for adventure, I'm willing to give it a go. I am also always looking to learn new things. I like the challenge that learning a new skill presents, whether that be how to fly a plane, (I have been taking flying lessons off and on as time allows and I fully intend to jump out of a plan someday soon. And before you ask, the answer is "Yes, on purpose!"), or how to do a perfect braid. (Yep, I have daughters...and no, they don't think I'll ever get that one!) I won't say that I don't enjoy some down time and a little peace and relaxation, but I don't see any reason to have a long 'bucket list' at the end when I can be enjoying it now.As far as work and other hobbies go, I like to think I am pretty well rounded. I have been in construction since I was a teenager and have managed to learn how to do all jobs involved in residential construction. I am also a part owner and manager of a large apartment complex.I enjoy cooking, and while I do tend to do more along the lines of baking & sweets, I can throw together a pretty good meal for a night spent in... I also run a home based bakery selling everything from basic to decorated cookies, cupcakes to wedding cakes, and truffles to homemade pies.What I would like to find is someone that can be happy getting out on the trail, going out for drinks or sitting at home relaxing. If you want to know more, I'd love to hear from you. Hmm...Do you have or love dogs? How about a trip to the shelter to take all the adoptees for a walk...Could you use a little brush up on your dancing skills? An afternoon or evening dance lesson... (I could certainly use this!)If you want to start with coffee or a drink to "See how it goes", let's make it interesting and restaurant hope for each course.
