About Me

well Helllooo..Here I am.... I've been living here in Northern Liberties section of Philly for the past 7 years. I work in corporate IT for my 8-5er and have my little gig on the side as well helping people out in the area. Yes, I help people for a living and I actually do like it. I'm single, happy, confident, analytic, sometimes cynical and sarcastic. I think there's a lot to laugh about in this world...sometimes I guess that gets revealed through my sense of humor. I'm compassionate, driven, a thinker, an observer, a speaker, a mover - a shaker! I'm fun, I'm funny, and I'll make you laugh, promise!I'm close with my parents, who live nearby in the suburbs and usually stop by and see them once a week or so. Luckily, I have a handful of close/lifetime friends and contacts here in the area...so this town does have extreme value to me! It's the people who are important to me, not the city itself so much. But yes, Philly is home, and probably always will be. I used to work as a cook/kitchen manager back in my previous life before working in IT, so I do know a thing or two about food and guarantee to please the palette. I'm a big music guy too(but no I'm not listing bands!) always have something on, whether at work, home, the car....at 4.5yrs old I started playing classical piano...12, guitar..then bass, drums..I have a bit of knack for playing music I guess. I'm a fantastic cuddler too, but we'll get to that... There's more than meets the eye here, for sure :)I like catching a good band somewhere around here, hitting a decent restaurant or bar, maybe go bowling, or just strolling or trolling? through the city looking for trouble!(muahaha)...oh and I definitely dig a good comfy dive bar. Making dinner at home with some vino or a few drinks is always a good idea to me, especially if you're into something like that! Hitting a Philly sports event or concert is always fine with me too....not a season ticket holder though.I've heard people say I'm laid back and easy going....I just think it's more of a 'being comfortable in your own skin and being at peace with yourself' kinda thing. I know myself and I know how to express myself to someone I'm interested in. And if I'm interested, there's no question you'll know it. I tend to leave the BS where it belongs and say what I think and what I feel...hope you're the same way! I much more prefer someone who is nearby, as opposed to driving ***mins. Makes sense, right? She's got to love to smile, she's got to have a light sense of humor, She has to be cultured, committed, educated, outspoken, opinionated, a fighter, a communicator, a lover, a best friend, a companion, an adviser, a queen, a wife, and maybe a mother in the future!? Whoa whoa whoa..let's take it one step at a time eh? ;)****Oh...couple things here, If you aren't interested or attracted DONT RESPOND...I mean really, why bother, right?? Just delete the message and move on...I can never stand when someone replies just to humor me or be 'nice'.... It's a shame I have to mention this, but if you favorite me or decide to message me, please have something to say or things to ask me - it's quite awkward to just come here and shoot the breeze - that's not why we're here. Happy Fishin' Hmm..I'm usually open to things..dinner, coffee, drinks, ice skating, phils/sixers/flyers game, a walk in the city...whatever works and whatever YOU are comfortable with...If we click we click, if we don't we don't...but please let's not BS eachother about it - if you're interested, show it! I will.And in the end, for a first date.....its not about where you are, but its who you're with ;)
