I'm back, yet again. I guess I'm just a glutton for punishment because dating for me has been a nightmare for the last 5 years. All I want is to be happy but I still haven't found something lasting and worthwhile.I am a single parent of the most awesome 7 year old son.I have him most of the time and my only real free time to get out and meet people is every other weekend. I want to get to know someone before children become involved. Meeting at a park as "friends" if we are comfortable with one another and letting kids play is perfectly acceptable.I'm very easy to get to know and wear my heart on my sleeve. I try to be as nice and courteous as possible to everyone I meet, but I often think that I have "USE ME" tattooed on my forehead.I am a walking contradiction. Most who look at me and see the shaved head (there is a HUGE difference between being shaved and being bald), tattoos, and earrings and automatically assume that I'm an illiterate, pill-billy thug. If you take the time to say hello, you will quickly realize I am nothing like that.I'm looking for someone who can carry on an intelligent conversation. Someone that is attractive on this inside is just as important as what is on the outside. Just like everyone else, looks do matter to me. If you aren't attracted to someone, then it won't work. I'm sorry, but knowing what you want in someone does not make you shallow. I lost over ***pounds 2 years ago and have kept it off. I did it all through changing my diet and eating right. Being an awesome cook is a major benefit(and most women seem to think its a big turn on...lol). I don't expect perfection, but I do want someone that takes care of themselves.Although I can't sing, I love music. I have a tremendous amount of respect for anyone that can sing or play an *** you really wanna woo me, sing for me :)I will not respond to one or two word messages, or all caps. I send well-thought out messages and if your responses are just "lol", "yes", "no", "cool", or other simple stuff all the time, then I will not waste my time. I can read all the gibberish that I see on here, but I get much more excited when I see someone use proper English in the correct context.If you are gonna send me a "Meet Me" request, at least take the time to read my page. I absolutely hate it when I respond to them and then the girl either doesn't respond back (after making the first contact with me) or only sent it because of my picture. I assure you that if I send a message or "Meet Me" request to anyone, I will have read their page first. Also, distance does matter. I have tried long distance dating and it just doesn't seem to work. I like to be able to casually run into the girls that I date at random places or pass them on the road. There is no better feeling than to have the person you are with to just show up, knock on your door, and then greet you with a smile and a kiss. If the right woman comes along, I am more than willing to re-evaluate the idea of long distance dating. First dates are all about being spontaneous :) Diner and a movie is not a good way to get to know someone. I prefer something where you can move around and talk.

    Well this is always the haredest part what to say about yourself. Well I am a single father. Yes I raise my son and he goes to his mothers every other weekend. I have been single for 3 years now. I have a full time job. I work as an auto technician. I own my house well the bank owns it and I give them money hoping someday to finally own it. Well right now I would say most of my hobbies seem to be my sons hobbies. That meaning he is big into sports and I coach pretty much all of his sports teams. Not sure that I am overely unique. So my taste in music is that I perfer rock especially heavy metal but I can listen to pretty much anything other than rap and the like. I suppose the first date would be to get together somewhere nice to have a meal were it isnt too loud so we could talk and get to know each other. If dinner goes good maybe a drink or too or a movie. Or just a nice walk to hang out and talk some more. I tend to be shy at first but when I open up I am told I am pretty fun to hang out with.
