Conversation is very important to me. Ever been one of those 20 questions dates? You know the one's where you're constantly asking questions of the boring person across from you, trying to get them to engage in some form of conversation so you don't fall asleep during the date? Those are awful. I'd also like to find someone where the burden of conversation is not constantly placed on me. I can definitely do my part, but you're the woman, and I should be able to get you going to the point where I could get away with the obligatory nod and "uh-huh" response. Of course I won't really do that, but you have to work with your potential dates here. I like to joke around and have a good time, but I'd also like to meet someone with a little bit of maturity. So lining your profile with pics of you and your girlfriends at the bar is not necessary. Those some pics which are accompanied with captions which say "Me and my b i t c h es!" is REALLY not necessary. I'd also like to speak with someone who doesn't have to specify that they enjoy dressing down as well as dressing up for a night on the town. I'm pretty sure all of us have had to go out for a formal event at some point in our life, so you don't need to point that out. I'm glad you at least know how to make the best of it, as well as knowing not to wear sweat-pants to Uncle Fred's wedding. Finally, I'm not a big fan of flakes, dandruff or otherwise. The only flakes I like are the frosted variety. Maybe the bran, but it has to have a lot of raisins! (This is of course all tongue in cheel, but you get the idea)What I am looking for is to get to know someone as a possible companion, friend, and maybe more down the road. I think it's better to get to know a person well enough before taking it to the next level, if at all possible... or even at all.I'm an active and fun loving person who likes to look at the glass as being half full.     Been on here for awhile now but finally decided to redo this whole thing so here it goes..... I am a single father of 4 kids, my son lives outside of home in another city, my oldest daughter who lives with her mom is set to graduate this year, then there are my youngest two of which I have sole custody of. They all come first and foremost, as I know most everyone else's kids do. Home life here for us is consumed by work, school (for them that is), and church. We are very active within our church going to bible School and service on Sunday and bible study /youth group on Wednesday's, and I am involved in a life group outside of church on Sunday nights. But i do work days there so nights are mainly free other than being with my kids. They do get to see their mom but it is only limited visitation, so as you can see I have my kids virtually all the time and time away can at times be hard to come by, but is achievable. As for other interest, we are still trying to get out to go camping. Once in a while I get out to go to a concert , I enjoy seeing smaller bands and local acts. I'm not much of a drinker so I don't do the bar scene much if any anymore unless a band is playing there. I still have my motorcycle license but have yet to a bike, which I really want someday. So as for what I'm searching for on here and am hoping to find, is someone to talk to and see where it goes, I hope to find someone who is a good conversationalist and can hold my attention or be able to force a conversation from me (I can be quiet at times). Would like to find someone who's a God fearing woman. Hopefully whomever she be will also like some of the same likes as me but not all...being exactly like me would be boring and no room for trying new things. So I know this is vague, but if it sparks your interest feel free to say hello and lets see where it goes a small quiet diner, coffee shop or whatnot....somewhere where we can sit and talk and not worry too much about distractions and get to know eachother
