Normal, sane, stable, cultured, great sense of humor...what else could you ask for? I like to keep things simple and neat. I have a pretty balanced life and believe that moderation is important.At times, I have a hard time sitting still. There is so much in the city off the beaten path that’s overlooked. Actually, I've learned to make my own Indian food over the last few years with mixed results. Maybe a bottle of wine and some laughs will help it all go down smoothly.I enjoy biking, finding a place for the weekend camping trip, or finding a nice hiking trail. There are so many things to do: street festivals, live shows, art shows, places to eat and small pubs to share a few drinks with friends.I have a great family and was raised with values. I have a Southern mother and a Yankee father, which makes for an interesting blend of Southern Hospitality meets NYC attitude. But I tend to exemplify more of the Southern Hospitality. One thing I’ve noticed is guys today seem to have forgotten what chivalry is. Maybe it’s just me but I still believe in the old fashioned rules of dating such as opening doors, picking up the check on a first date, picking a random flower or any small gesture that brings a smile.I consider myself to be genuine and upfront about what I’m seeking in my match. Nobody is perfect and I don’t believe in a 100% match. I find learning from one another’s differences is an exciting part of any good relationship. I don't have a problem meeting people, but I'm finding it harder to meet people that I can connect with. Let's meet for a drink first and see if we click. If we work, we'll plan something else with some effort put into it.

I like to be on the water playing,fishing or just hanging out. There are only a couple mounths of summer left, so I'll go play on the lake almost every day after work, if nothing else to do. I also like hiking, playing in the yard, movies, dinning sometimes, having friends over and fires. I love cooking but I am a super picky eater. I can cook anything though, but I won't taste a lot of things lol. I own a business, so I also enjoy taking care of that. Ummmm, not so much the office stuff though!! I work very hard and love what I do. I have a Seven year old little boy whom I also spend as much time as I can with. I like almost all types of music. Most of my favorites are from the 80s. I call myself a "song piece listener"..I listen to parts of songs for 20 seconds then change it.I plow snow and got kinda bored waiting for it this winter so, I got a guitar n force fed myself for three months. Now i can make a lot of noise lol! I guess you can learn anything from YouTube lol.. Im starting a whole new life after being married for a long time.(divorced for three yrs now, not so new:)) Looking for some one to enjoy the ride with me. Let me explain: "Want to date but nothing serious" -Seems like the best relationships happen spontaneously...not when stressing one is needed.
